You mean a favorite Bible verse? Read the Bible and you will find many beautiful verses, including description of the divine Power of our , fear of , and sacrifice.

Talking about sacrifice, here is a beautiful story:

Judges 11:30-40


30 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,
31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

40 That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.


Isn't it a beautiful story? Here we have a brave warrior who promised to sacrifice the first person who would come out to greet him. (He probably was wishing it would be his wife, maybe it was time to exchange her for a newer model). , in His infinite wisdom, decided that he wanted Jepthah's only child as the offering, and Jepthah did what he had to do and burned his daughter to please The .
