  • Greetings for all True Christians™

    Dear all True Christians™,

My name is Debora, i am a 19-years-old girl. I had been a Christian for my entire life, but i just has been got an enlightment by reading threads on this forum, Landover Baptist Church Forum. all members here are so dedicated, well-obeyed to The Bible, something i've never seen before. From this forum too, i knew so many truth from The Bible that i never knew as a Christian, like about how women should never leave her house: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=58901

first i'm not believe it, but after those benefits explained, i start to know that my knowledge about The Bible was still very, very minimal.

and it makes me want to learn more about The Bible, and want to be a True Christian™ as well.

well, i will explain my background here.
I live in Philadelphia with my father, as my parents now are divorced and my mother leave the house. She was very rebel, when she still in our house she often come home late and always dressed in scantily attire. and of course she didn't take care both me and my father, as she was too busy for looking after her beauty. My father wants her to stay at home and do her domestic job, cooking and cleaning house and such. but my mother disobeyed him and finally, at one night, she leave our house. as result i do all of housework, include gardening(my father planted potatoes on backyard). i graduated from Senior High School last year, and i'm not looking for job nor going to college, as my dream is to be a good housewife.

that's my intrudoction, hope i can make friends, get more knowledge about His will, and of course, be saved an becoming a True Christian™.

    sincerly,

    Debora

    Debora,

I am so sorry that your mother was such a whore. This offended God greatly, I assure you, so please just accept that she is hell-bound and you are better off for not having to live under her influence.

I hope your father is a good, gentle Christian man and that he has properly disciplined you with his rod from time to time. Do you and your father worship anywhere? It is so important to be on our knees before God; I think being on your knees is particularly important for women, since it is our place to be subservient as you so dutifully mention in your post. My advice to you is to speak to your father soon about finding you a good husband.

Don't be concerned about age, looks, or any of the things you might feel are important when selecting a mate. Instead, pray for someone that will care for you and provide structure and discipline as you spew forth soldiers for Christ. Aim high!

You will find many True Christian (TM) women here that will mentor you. While I am not married, several of the women here have a husband; they will help guide you in the ways of JESUS, and will answer any questions you might have regarding living a humble, Christian life. May God bless you.

Welcome Debora. Where do you come from originally, as it would seem that English is not your first language. And yet, you already know how to put ™ after True Christians ™. I think you must have an intriguing and interesting life. YIC

Welcome, Debora! What's your favorite Bible verse? What church do you go to?
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I see you said that you are 19 yet your father has not yet arranged a marriage for you. I myself am a 22 year old man, firm in my faith. Are you fertile and virgin?

If so I would perhaps be open to beginning negotiations with your father. Or, if you prefer I could rape you and pay him the 50 Shekels. I believe I can afford the ~$420 but you had better be good at cleaning and cooking.

for Mr. Pendergast, my favorite Bible verse is already described on my Singature, i choose it because it's a simple sentence that describe how a woman who fear god will get good appreciations on society.

i go to First Baptist Church of Philadelphia with my father, but after that church start to accept homosexuals(and that's makes us uncomfortable), my father considering for move to another church. Glad that he choose Landover Baptist Church as the good one, after i recommend this church to him! i am so glad

and for Mr./Ms. Moss, no, i'm not Russian. I'm a proud white American. but l will answer Mrs. Mother of Seven's question here: when i still 1-year-old, my family move to Iceland because of my Father's job(he works as a technician) and i live there for about 11 years, before we moving back to America. as result, i just speak English for last 7 years, and i know that my grammar is like, scattered around. but now i try to learning a good and proper English as i want to be a good, Godly American

Are you telling us that between the ages of 1 and 12, when you lived in Iceland with your American family, you and your family did not speak American at home? Whyever not? It sounds most peculiar to me!

But welcome to our forums, dear.

And an excellent choice he made. Your father is a wise man.

I think we have to proceed with uttermost precaution with this one, Mrs. Hun. I know it is hard to believe, but it seems like this person might be lying to us. Even if her (his? Who knows) parents obstained from speaking American in Iceland, how come she/he did learn how to speak it during the 7 years which she/he claims to have spent in the Godly U.S. of America. Something does not add up in this story!

I think even in Iceland they learn English in school. Maybe it is one of those weird shrieking spirit things, like in the documentary Cold Fever?
