My name is Anna, I am 25, engaged to my wonderful husband and live in Australia.

It has only been a year since I saw the light and accepted Christ as my saviour, although something is troubling me. Does God not teach us to love and accept all his children? Why do we still, in this day and age, treat homosexuals as if they are beneath us? Is it wrong that I have openly homosexual friends?

Friend, the Word of God is Correct and True for all time, no matter the day or age. If the Word of God was meant to be updated, He would have done so by now.

Now, I personally don't have anything against homosexuals, but if God hates them, who am I to question Him?

Would it be too forward to ask you to comply with forum rules and tell us the church you attend and your favorite Bible quote?

In the meantime rest assured that we are all praying that those first baby steps you are taking will clear those false notions that you seem to be harboring about GOD. I would strongly advise you to take some time, everyday, to read the KJV.

There was another one yesterday who claimed to be married to his children. Sister Basilissa is right - I suspect it's the blood rushing to their heads that confuses them. That and the unGodly climate.
