    Hey guys

I know you hate me but here goes: I'm an English Fifteen year old boy, almost sixteen. I am a proud gay man. I'm part Scottish and Irish, uh... about my belief in God: I believe in God and I believe God is forgiving of all of us, I don't believe in a lot of the old testament, because I believe much of it is mistranslated, misinterpreted and biased to the people whom did translate it. Not only that but it is very old, and was more relevant to that time (when it was written.)I believe a lot more in the new testament because it revolves more so around Jesus and because there is a lot less about hatred of different types of people in the new testament... And Jesus' word is more loving and accepting of people. Love thy neighbour is one of my favourite quotes from the Bible, because it's meaning is to show respect to everyone, which you should do no matter their race, gender, sexuality, origins, religion, political views, etc. I'm not a very practiced Christian, but I hope to become one and better myself in the teachings of Jesus. I pray regularly to help the world, to make it a better place... I dunno what else to say really. So that's me... now for the hate comments

    Re: Hey guys

Friend, we do not hate you. Far from it. We are sad you are tossing your soul away in a pact with Satan.
Truthfully, your cruel assumptions hurt my feelings. Thank you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

How am I tossing my soul away to Satan? Is the Lord not forgiving? I pray for God to forgive my sins and for all my wrongdoings...

If only you had opened up your Bilbe prior to opening up your rectum.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Until you stop your sinful ways, you can pray until the Rapture but God will ignore you. See friend, Jesus is always in the room with you, watching.

          No.

          Matthew 12:31-32
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come.

          That's not what Jesus said:

          Matthew 5:17-19
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

I believe a lot more in the new testament because it revolves more so around Jesus and because there is a lot less about hatred of different types of people in the new testament...
Oh? I'm guessing you haven't really read it, did you?

And Jesus' word is more loving and accepting of people.
          Not really:

          Matthew 15:22-28
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

In this passage, doesn't Jesus strike you as somewhat, um, racist?

Love thy neighbour is one of my favourite quotes from the Bible, because it's meaning is to show respect to everyone, which you should do no matter their race, gender, sexuality, origins, religion, political views, etc.

How can you be 15 and a queer? Were you raped in the anus by a papist priest?

Here's the problem, Nancy; God loves you, but He is going to send you deep into the nastiest part of hell unless you sincerely repent of your perverted behavior. He wants you to show your love for Him by denying the queer demons in your rectum. You need to stop being a limp-wristed pole smoker and start being Normal. THEN God will know that you love Him.

Don't try arguing your way out of it. Jesus watches you every time you wave your spotty behind at truck drivers. He sees you when you service sweaty, hairy strangers in public toilets. You make Him sick!
            Who Will Jesus Damn?

Which parts, exactly, have been mistranslated? The parts you don't like?

Not only that but it is very old, and was more relevant to that time (when it was written.)
That's a slippery slope. What's to stop you from applying that line of reasoning to the New Testament, which is itself 2,000 years old?

I believe a lot more in the new testament because it revolves more so around Jesus
Jesus said the Old Testament revolves around Him too.

I don't see any evidence of it in the real world. Life goes on as it always has. Just goes to show God doesn't listen to the prayers of sinners.

My guess is that you are fine with the warm and cuddly bits like Deuteronomy 6:5, but don't much care for verses like Leviticus 20:13, which Brother James has already mentioned.

This is called cherry-picking. You really cannot pick and choose the parts of the Bible that you believe and obey. It's all or nothing. It won't wash, dear, it really won't.

                  Here's how you can help:

A.) Stop with the sodomy right now, and tell Baby Jesus how sorry you are for spitting in His face. Nothing enrages Christ more than a shameless bugger.

B.) Once satan's prick has been withdrawn from your mouth, let it be replaced by the Word of God™. Pray it forward; maybe start your own truck stop restroom stall ministry, as so many other reformed perverts have done. Teach them to bow down humbly and receive His Glory, to be subject to the guidance, comfort, and yea, discipline of His rod.

C.) Burn all your Doogie Howser DVDs. Watching and rewatching volume after volume after volume of the lithe, nubile, taut-buttoxed Neil Patrick Harris will surely have you returning like a dog unto it's vomit to your folly. Trust me on this....burn them all.

So you first decide what you want to believe and then cherry-pick and "interpret" the Word of God to fit. That's not how it's done, dear friend. We are to live by every word of God, not just the ones that you like:

[Matthew 4:4 KJV] 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Also, as for whether any part of the Bible has been mistranslated, God has promised to preserve His Word:

[Psalm 12:6-7 KJV] 6 The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

[Isaiah 40:8 KJV] 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

[Matthew 24:35 KJV] 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Besides, when you think about it, how hard can it be for an omnipotent God to prevent mistranslation?

Finally, if the "hatred of different types of people" in Scripture offends you, then your morality obviously differs from God's. Who is wrong: you or God?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Questions to ask liberal "Christians"Things that the Bible doesn't sayTolerance
