I do remember some photos that showed a previously undiscovered Mexican tribe in Brazil. In addition to these people looking directly at the camera (and shooting at it with arrows), they had the decency to cover their private parts.

He has a writing style that is easy to read, and I can reassure you, I know for a fact, that even the most absurd stuff he writes about (like throwing overproduced fertilizers directly to the rivers, or painting the grass green for a visit of a high official) has been done at some point or another. (The grass painting was fairly common, actually).
