The trip was Brother James' idea. He and Vera (naughty euphemism) are former neighbors and he wants to give her the business and provide a witnessing opportunity to the many homers in her employ.

Well, since the matter of my gold Maid of Honor dress is settled (and in the works), I don't think I need to be there to help supervise what the rest of the bridesmaids will be wearing.

I also suspect "Mr. Choo" might be of the Asian persuasion, and I'd prefer not to have him touching my feet.

I can assure you that only the finest fabrics are used by Vera. All the dresses will follow the guidelines that are in the Bible( No mixing).

I leave the forum for a couple of hours and all the hi-jinx and shenanigans possible ensue!

To clarify things. James gave me the lovely necklace this morning when coming into my room to leave it as a surprise for me, along with a bunch of some of the most beautiful orchids I have ever seen in my life. He was not alone and in fact, was flanked by 2 of his bodyguards, so please rest assured that nothing inappropriate has taken place. James is a gentleman first and foremost and I am a lady.

My dear sweet friend Cookie. Yes, I know we discussed you putting your wonderful seamstress skills to good use, but I truly feel that your eye for detail and design and also ear for the fantastic could be put to far better use in choosing the musical stylings for the Reception. Perhaps some 'Sounds of Swing" and wonderful wholesome music from the 40's and 50's would be suitable to ensure a rip-roaring good time had by all. Could you perhaps work on that, as it would take a burden off of me. It was also lovely for you to want to help James with the bachelor party! You are just too sweet for words!

Now, this will probably cause some tension but if she accepts, I would love nothing more than for Sister B.I.G to be my Maid of Honor. She and I have become firm friends since my arrival in Freehold as she has been staying at James' home and she has gone out of her way, despite her OWN busy schedule with her own new home being built and all, to help me with many a day to day task. She has been a blessing from Jesus HIMSELF! Praise Him!!

I love you all sisters but I did have to make a decision and now it has been made. Now it is B.I.G's decision whether she would like to accept that role or not.

James my darling, thank you for being the knight in shining armour yet again and letting the good people of Freehold know what's what. Are there no bounds to your chivalry?

I am thrilled to see to the Big Band music for the reception. I will begin auditioning bands in my guest house post haste. There are several from the college fraternities in Des Moines I've had my eye on. I'm sure they can swing with the best.

I am deeply touched that you will be entrusting the bachelor party to my little hands. I can wear the gold Maid of Honor dress I was making as I chaperone the event. These parties have a tendancy to get a little "wild" if the "boys" are left to their own devices, and it will be my pleasure to insure a respectable front is maintained.

Here am I trying to play nice, I buy you a wonderful and unusual present that could lead to an interesting new pastime for you.

I do a lovely video tribute for you, ok you did not like all the pictures but I don't exactly have a huge collection of pictures of the happy couple to work with so I had to pad it out a bit.
