Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Yeah, yeah, "I come from a land, down under . . . " Now somebody better identify the song title and singer before I become fretful. (I don't want anything to spoil our party plans.)

I think it is their National Anthem in Aussieland. It was on a record by some working guys or something like that.

Being the American expert on all other countries, Land Down Under is actually their unofficial anthem. The Waltzing Matilda is the the real one.

Well that is certainly a raucous melody that must get the fans fired up for the ball game !

Ahem! Mister Freddie, just where did you pick up that particular familar form of my name?

I am a True Christian Lady of advanced years and am not accustomed to being addressed in such an informal manner by ANYONE, not even those within my congregation.

That being said, the name of the band and song title will sooth the small, sinfull part of my brain that strays from devoted worship of the Lord and serious reading of His Word to collect trivial factoidal information.

So, thank you . . . and how dare you?!

Properly Yours, (but not really so don't go getting any ideas!)

Glad you're back! They were derailing your fiance's celebration thread and dragging me down under ( Arrgh! Pun!) with half-remembered song lyrics.

Let's get back to what's important. Which color am I wearing? The Cheese Doodle Glow in the Dark Yellow or something worse?

Well thank you Handmaiden for trying to get things back to the more important issues at...erm... hand.

Oh no!! I would never go for something so gauche!!

The bridesmaid's dresses are similar to this, but in a deeper plum. James and I discussed colors for a good while and it was the best compromise.

Of course for modesty, there will be matching wraps to cover shoulders and the like.

However, we gals MUST arrange a time very soon when all can go to NY for proper fittings for both gowns and the matching shoes. James was a neighbor of Vera Wang when he lived in NY and she has been kind enough to put time aside to endulge our whims. Jimmy Choo is also onboard to provide the perfect shoes to set off the desired look.

Perhaps this Saturday, we could all meet over a cup of tea to discuss the trip to NY? James has already said we can use his jet to fly over there a day convenient to us all.

Please let me know if a Saturday get together works for you.

                      YIC,

                      Sister Phebe.

                        Sister Phebe.
Where did you find that picture of me? And I thought that my all too brief modelling career would be forgotten in the mists of time.

Saturday is fine. Oh, and I presume that James has provided you with a sustantial stipend with which to buy bridesmaid gifts. Here in the States it's sort of a common thing for the bridesmaid gifts to be the jewelry the bride wishes her attendents to wear with their gowns. Pearls are nice for daytime weddings. I personally feel that the added sparkle of faceted stones should be reserved for evening ceremonies.

                        Excitedly Yours,

That's why we will be wearing little bolero jackets or silk shawls over top of the dresses.
