1st... as one of the guys said... the flag is the Norwegian flag (so if that is one of your arguments, you should be careful and search better before being so critical)

2nd... You call yourself reverend and you are using the bible in the wrong way... just to justify your hatred against Iceland... even when you don't know anything about them. I've been in Iceland, and the people is the same than in any other country in the world, the same need, the same sins, and the same need of God... I've been helping there in a Christian summer camp that has been working preaching the gospel for 60 years there. and yes, is difficult but is not impossible.

3rd. in your list of points for condemnation to Iceland, the second point about the geographical stuff... it has been made up on your hatred to Iceland. Yes I believe that there is a possibility that Sheol could be in the centre of the earth... and so what?? About the Ice thingy... seriously... do you think that is like that because God doesn't bless them?? come on!!! God creates the world as he wanted. If you know about the history of Iceland it was colonized by vikings... so when they arrived to that place it was exactly as you see it now!!!

4th... about the economy... God can be punishing them or just calling them to realize that money is not important... that money is not a firm foundation... the only firm foundation is God (Matthew 6:9-24; 1 Timothy 6:10); and by the way, the credit crunch is not a problem just in Iceland... is a wolrdwide problem... and sooner or later will affect your country as well. (even when you think that United States will never fall).

5th... the example of Bjork is just a joke... come on... wake up!!! You are using the bible in the wrong way... again!!!! You should learn that to interpret the bible there are some hermeneutical methods that have to consider the history, grammar, context, culture and the time that it has been written and the purpose of the author at that point... this is just basics in biblical studies... which I can see there is a lack of all of this points in this matter; apart of that, there is a horrible racist expression (negroes) in that point that a christian shouldn't use, not even as a joke!!! And by the way... Bjork is just one... in comparison with the thousands of horrible bad examples that are in Hollywood and all United States, where is the centre of the World's entertainment.

6th.... About the female prime minister...Again there is a wrong interpretation of the passage in 1st Timothy 2:12; where the bible is talking about the congregation ... is not talking about the public life. And is not in us to judge the authorities, but to obey them (Romans 13:1-7; Titus 3:1-2; 1st Timothy 2:1-4; etc)
According to your wrong interpretation, many countries are wrong, United Kingdom (the queen), Denmark, Argentina, Chile... for example, where women are ruling... and i'm not saying if they are doing write or wrong... but you can't make and statement like "God hates Iceland"... based on this point.

You have a serious problem in your interpretation of the Bible, and your reading of it!!! The bible says in Romans 12:18, and 1st Thessalonians 5:13, to live in peace with one another, so according to you, Jesus was weak... because he was not interested in having an army, but interested in share his love, mercy and compassion to everyone
And by the way the universal heath care doesn't show weakness at all, is a wonderful system that helps everyone to have the same access to medicine and health care... and again... that is not a good point for foundation about your statement that "God hates Iceland"

8th About the law of gay marriage... again, you should search a bit more; in Iceland is legal for them but not marriage is called "Civil unions and
registered partnerships", a difference than other countries (including USA) where the marriage of people from the same sex is legal. I don't say that this is right... I just say that is not in Iceland only, that the way you study the case is not trustworthy, because is full of mistakes, and you should learn that you are not God to judge a country in that way without seeing your own, even when your own is the biggest promoter of homosexuality (tv, movies, magazines... etc)

9th. About the sorcery and witchcraft, yes that is wrong... but is not the only place where that is something normal... you should understand that all the world is depraved and every creature is led by their own evil deeds. Sorcery and witchcraft have been practised in every country around the world since the beginning. Even in USA, there is a man that called himself Marilyn Manson, he said openly had called himself as priest of the satanic church,who have had a big impact in the life of many young people. Also the very famous actor, Tom Cruise is promoter of the Scientology and is sharing that from Hollywood to the whole world. So... what is worse a museum about what is part of history or an modern practise and advertise of sorcery and witchcraft to the whole world through the biggest media ever????

10th... I don't agree with this thing either, there are many museums about sex around the world. First of all.. it's equal to a lie... which is sinful!
It's not good to do something like this to tell lies and to insult or make false statements! which some of the statements are.. for example the flag, the cross is a symbol of the nation being Christian.. which sadly is not what it seems to be any more, as a nation.. but that doesn't mean that there are no Christians there.. like, even the schools in the US have "thrown" God out.. and Bjork is only one person that you mentioned.. but what about Hollywood??? I'm not justifying her living or any other person's living.. but you can't make statements like that, and think that they are valid! Just because something is similar (like the cross) doesn't mean that it's the same.. and the statements and arguments are not valid for a reason for saying "God hates Iceland" the whole world is like that.. And as emr1977 quoted "For God so loved the world...." and who are you people to say that God hates Iceland? The Bible is His word, and there's never mentioned that He hates Iceland.. But He does hate sin.. which people can see all over the world! and second, the ice thing, come on!?!? first, Iceland isn't mostly ice.. second, what curse is it to have a lot of ice? they will have water for many years, if Jesus doesn't come soon.. so it's a true blessing, instead of lacking water, as people do in many other countries..!! and since you apparently can't know the Icelandic flag from the Norwegian, how can people then think that your geographical statements are valid??
Next time you're thinking of making any statements, check out the subject first.. in this case, Iceland.. you need to talk to everyone before saying that there are no true Christians!!
