Friend, you talk like a demon. Are you possessed? If you are, we have some very skilled exorcists here at Landover, you know.
        Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
        Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

        Amen.

          Dear Godmocking Whore;

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule of worshiping satan and spreading your legs for anyone with a dollar to post this hateful message. The Holy Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persecution! Thanks for proving that we're right.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Enjoy hell. I know that Jesus and I can't wait to watch you burn in hell for all eternity. Oh, how we'll laugh at you as you scream in agony! Shout Glory!!

          YIC,

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. john 3:16. Is everyone here forgetting what the most important thing is? God IS love. He doesn't hate ice land just because they national flag just so happens to be a cross turned side ways.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother

This clearly states that anyone who does not love his brother is of the devil. Taking this quiet literally this means that all of you here are of the devil. This is not my personally opinion of you but this is pulled from the bible. And yes i know put down the marihuana ciggaretts son. clearly im high because i just disproved all of you

              Dear Friends,

Ever wonder if YOU are a member of that dizzy, daffy, delusional bunch known as the John 3:16 Christians? Well, in the tradition of that great American humorist Jeff Foxworthy, I suggest you might be a John 3:16 Christian if...

...you've ever used the words "God" and "loves" in the same sentence without adding the words "to kill"
...you tell your non-Baptist friends you'll "see them in Heaven" -- and don't mean it as a practical jest
...you haven't picked out which lawn chair you want to ascend bodily into Glory with
...you're against banning any book in the public schools...unless its the only one that can save the kids from eternal fire and darkness
...you consider tithing to be *shudder* optional
...in Scriptural debates, you cite to the New School Jive Bible for the Deaf
...you've passed an abortion clinic without throwing a brick
...you've ever caught yourself enjoying sex or mackerels
...Hustler doesn't bother you -- you're idea of pornography is The 700 Club
...you watched the Yo Gabba Gabba and couldn't spot the gay one
...you consort with black people who aren't the help, politicians, or professional athletes
...you know someone who thought about voting for Barack Obama
...when doing laundry, you refuse to separate your whites from your coloreds
...you can rise to speak at School Board meetings without anyone rolling their eyes
...to you, being a "family values" hardliner means saying people probably shouldn't have sex with their own children
...you've listened respectfully as someone outlined the differences between paganism and wicca
...you think the First Amendment protects dipping a cross in urine, but not setting it on fire
              ...you're not taking harp lessons
...you put more stock in what science has said in the last ten years than in what God said during the 4,000 years before Christ

Please see the bold part. Whoever believes in him.

                Now, look forward two passages.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Of course God is love, except for when He isn't.

Here is a short list of things and people God hates and/or finds to be an abomination (worthy of or causing disgust or hatred).

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

                Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Proverbs 15:8-9,26 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Deuteronomy 16:22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

Revelation 2:6; 15 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

I love my brothers and sisters wholeheartedly. The thing you need to ask yourself is, "who are your brothers and sisters?"

Let's find out what Jesus had to say about the matter.

                Matthew 12:46-50
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

See? Jesus tells us that only our fellow believers are our brothers and sisters.

Doesn't the Bible say to love your neighbor?

Yes. Does that mean to lie to him and tell him what he wants to hear? No.

It means to tell him the truth, and warn him to flee from the wrath to come. As we are commanded in Leviticus 19:17, "Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him." Here, loving your neighbour is defined as rebuking him, and not allowing sin to come upon him. Further, we have never suggested that we don't love our neighbor. We're not saying "We hate fags" - we're saying "God hates fags." The purest, most exalted form of love is to tell people the truth, especially about weighty matters such as life and death, sin, righteousness, judgment to come, Heaven and Hell.

But remember, David said: "Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? Am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them mine enemies." Psalm 139:21, 22. David hated God's enemies with a perfect, spiritual hatred (as opposed to the fickle human emotion of hatred), just as all of God's elect do.

Glad to see you were just being sarcastic. I knew you couldn't be so stupid as to think that disproved anything.
from what ive seen here yes you people are hating big time. Does it matter if ice land has a side ways cross in their flag? No it doesn't. Point is instead of freaking out over every little detail, go out and and just live. People will see that we are different just by the way we are. Doesn't mean we have to be perfect. Instead of telling somone they are going to hell mabye show them the way? nobody wants to hear they are going to hell. they will automatically disregard anything else you say. Show them there is a better way and what jesus can do in their life.

Friend, we don't hate anyone. We are merely trying to save them from hell. Think about the story of Jonah. God tells him to go to Nineveh to warn the people that God is about to smite them. Of course Jonah tries to run away and he ends up in a fish's belly for three days, but when he gets out, he goes to Nineveh and delivers his message, thus thwarting God's destruction.

We are merely trying to do the same thing for your country.

Well, didn't christ die so that everyone could be saved? Last time i checked christ didn't die for just the ones he loved. He died for everyone. Even sinners. Thats means he loved sinners, thats right sinners, to death so they could have salvation.

Well to believe they must first want to believe. If an "unsaved" piece of "trash" were to come here i think they would be insulted. You people here are only condemning sinners calling them "trash" and even supporting murder! (http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showt...926#post714926 prove me wrong?)
First they must see God's love and how his followers care about lowly sinners and they will want to believe in him and be saved. If Jesus died for only those who believed then Christianity would be dead today. Its because of Christians who have spread God's love and showed sinners a better way that Christianity is thriving today. Also are you kkk? I noticed the burning cross behind you and i am honestly disturbed...

23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

On some show compassion, on other save them by scaring them about the fires of hell that await them, and hating everything about them until they repent. Do you think these Bible writers we loving when they told people to repent?

                            Isaiah
-God will "smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion" because he dislikes the way they dress and walk. 3:16

-God will make every man kill his brother and then force him to eat "the flesh of his own arm." 9:19-20

-If God can find you, he will "thrust you through," smash your children "to pieces" before your eyes, and rape your wife. 13:15-18

-"There stink shall come up out of their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood." 34:2-3

                            - God's sword is "filled with blood." He plans to kill so many people that the "land will be soaked with blood." 34:5-8

-God will make people "eat their own flesh" and be "drunken with their own blood." 49:26

-The carcasses of those killed by God will be piled high. They will rot and burn forever. 66:24

And in the New Testament, we have Paul writing in the book of Romans.

-"The wrath of God" is on all unbelievers. 1:18-20

-God abandons those who don't know him to "uncleanness and vile affections." 1:24-26

-Homosexuals (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." 1:31-32

                            - "He that doubteth is damned ... Whosoever is not of faith is sin." 14:23

                            I can keep going.

I think it is you sir. If God can find you, he will "thrust you through," smash your children "to pieces" before your eyes, and rape your wife.

and rape your wife? thats not the God i know. And last time i checked beating someone into believing a religion typically doesn't gain happy loving followers. You people are no different then radical terrorist! Your making things soo much more complected then they need to be. Its VERY simple. God IS love. He created us and he loves us. We simply live our lives as an example. We show God's love and people see that we are different and want what we have and then we show them the way. Really are you going to have more converts if you beat them and dam them to hell, or show them that there is a better way in life? You cant argue with that because you know im right.

I'm sorry you disagree with God.

Except for the part where we go out and blow things up.

Not true at all. God doesn't love everyone.

Leviticus 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Proverbs 6:16, 19 These six things doth the LORD hate ... A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Hosea 9:15 I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings.
Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

I would rather follow the example of the Apostles. Here is how they talk to people in the book of Acts.

                              St. Stephen says:

Acts 7: 51 “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

                              St. Paul says:

Acts 13:10 “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

Acts 18:6 But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

"God will smite thee, thou whited wall." Acts 23:3

Yes yes i know. God is watching me waiting for me to mess up so he can smite me. I have been in and out of churches shoving this down my throught for years. It is people like you that give us Christians a bad name. Everything you have said is completely twisted. Look at my post. caution- Poster is on drugs. Is that supposed to be funny? Calling new users here "unsaved trash". If anything this website is of the devil. If i were unsaved and came here i could never become a Christan and im glad i didn't come here first. Now then if you will excuse me i am going to go back to my life. And while im at it i might even have a cigar and some wine because drinking wine is biblical (fact. look it up. even jesus drank wine.) and it says no where i can have a cigar. Have a good day, and please, dont kill anyone. Not cool man...

Can you show us where any of the hundred or so Bible verses we quoted for you are somehow twisted?
