Is it not a sin according to you to have those sort of thoughts? Also what time is it with you there? its 10:08 pm with me.

Because every night I pray that my grandfather wh has had a stroke recovers, I pray for family and friends that I have lost or that might be gone tomorrow.

I have just 3 questions for you:
1. If, on my death bed, I believe every word of christ and the lord and I have still lead a non selfish and good life, will I get in to heaven?
2. If the answer is yes to number one does that not slightly annoy you and how can this be fair and just?
3. If evolution is not real, and Adam and Eve were white (I'm only assuming from drawings) how are there black people?

You know, Jake, this is not an exercise in levity.

1) What ever gave you such a silly idea?
2) I don't think there is a single sais in heaven.
3) Don't you know anything about the curse of Ham?

Oh, and it's day light savings time here.

He's a bit like you filthy atheists in that he makes up his own values but then he pretends to be Christian to look respectable which seems somehow worse.

Well sacrificing his son for our sins is pretty loving and Jeusus telling others to treat others how we would want to be treated and the whole turning the other cheek stuff.

You've been misled, sonny. Go and actually read a Bible. It will change your life and suddenly you will see God the way I see him. I had to go through the same thing when I started to suspect that Catholics aren't really Christians and it was painful but necessary. Now I see God clearly and know just how much He really deserves total faith. It's a real weight off your shoulders.

You did I didn't see them at the time apologies and the questions wern't specifically for you I was asking everyone. I'll be honest I don't know what non ovine means. But if it means having a girlfriend then I've only had one, I was with her 4 years and engaged to her then I moved away for work reasons and I've only had one night stands since.

if that's the case then this is not the God I've been brought up with and known and loved..
There's a close friend of mine who follows a different christianity called Christelphian don't know what your views are on that..

ha ha thanks for the tip, I'm not wanting to beat them just try and understand them Everyone is entitled to an opinion and diversity is what makes this earth the beuatiful place it is. It annoyed me what they were saying about the Isle of man granted because the people and the place are lovely.
Until I saw this I actually wanted to move to America, Florida specifically I love my fishing shooting and Diving and I went there in August it was such a great place

It means sheep. I know it's not funny but these people really believe in God and the bible. I was bought up to believe in god and I still do but there is lot of stuff my Sunady school teachers left out.

These guys embrace it all. I've been rethinking what it means to be a Christian and I just don't think I can be as punitive as the bible wants me to be.

it's just an interpretation I don't think it's as black and white as these people make it out to be :/ I think they are almost as bad extremist muslims but they havn't become terrorists

but the majority of muslims arnt terrorists and are lovely people

Well my friend I feel exactaly the same about the isle of man and wales as you do on your version of christianity as they are my home and I have close friends and family in both places, so I was just offended about these outrages comments as you are with mine. Make a fool of myself? It's judgemental, ignorant people such as yourself that makes the majority of the world hate Americans and the sad thing is the Americans I have met are amazing people, I have a an Uncle who lives in Ohio and plays the organ for his church, he has a wife and they're two of the nicest people I know.
Your interpretation of God just makes him seem like the playground bully "Live this way or I'm going to punish you" and that is not the God I have been brough up with, know and love.
You all have made this a great experience an in all honesty, I thank you for it. I was thinking of applying for jobs out there as I'm coming towards the end of my college years and apprenticeship but I am having second thoughts now.
And I thought that God welcomes all? even the sinners if they change their life and embrace him? or am I wrong about that too? there's no "Born again christians"?
Why be so angry about it? Yes my first comment was angry because you insulted my home and I just though it was out of order. Why are you so scared of people having different ideas? If you are right then you get through pearly and we burn in eternal damnation it's a win win for you surly?
