      the best place to look is the Book of Revelation, chapter 12. "And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery. And another portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads.         Let's read the very next verse, again from your Catholic Bible:

        Revelation 12:6 (New Jerusalem Bible): while the woman escaped into the desert, where God had prepared a place for her to be looked after for twelve hundred and sixty days.

        Now this has what exactly to do with the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin?

              Stating some difficult words isn't proof for anything. Especially as all those theories/suppressive political systems are invented by madmen.

              There is a God, and you'll have some work to do to be saved by Him. Try reading a KJV for starters.
