So.. what happened to the statement "God Loves Everyone?"

Who stated that and do you have some scripture to back it up?
Of course God doesn't love everybody, people who think so, haven't read the Bible. God loves True Christians™ and that's it.

That saying was taught to me when I was younger. It was also often said when people from the church came to the school.

Why would I require written evidence to back it up? Everyone has their own beliefs.

To me, "God loves all of his children" or "God loves everyone" sounds much more loving than "God hates X and other such things."

In the end, it's just a belief. As I've said, everyone is entitled to their own. I'm Scottish, and though I respect peoples' opinions, this topic is one that just angers me.

God never said He loves everyone. He said He loves only those that are Christians.

I can understand why it upsets you. To find out God does not love you can be quite a blow, especially if for all these years you were under the mistaken belief that He did love you. But you forced Him to make the choice. Do not blame little baby Jesus for your bad decisions in life.

I have never worn a kilt.
I attend church every Sunday.
I currently attend university studying English so that I may become a teacher and therefore help others as they're growing up.
I should also point out, because you'll most likely accuse me of it if I don't, that I am not gay or into bestiality. I am also straight.
