It's not baseless, obviously people in Scotland do get drunk from time to time, but that#s just like everybody else. There are lots of legal restrictions on drinking in Scotland nowadays, much moreso than in America, but I don't go about calling you drunks. You can't claim to have more experience of Scottish people than I do. I don't care if you worked in NYC, I LIVE IN SCOTLAND. My experience trumps yours.

Well maybe instead of sitting on your butts looking at a 200 year old invention saying "look how great we once were" you could actually try to do something that is relevant to modern society. Anyway, do you think that somebody else wouldn't of invented it? After all, it was a Brit who invented the steam engine, which was the real importance of the industrial revolution. The steam locomotive was just one use of the tool.

Tell me, is this a valid defense in Scotland? Can you tell a judge that it's okay that you were drunk in public because everyone else is?

I have see the soap commercials. All they want is American husbands, ones that do not come home drunk every night from the coal mines or potato fields.

This is just all I can remember, the tip of the iceberg. So with that in mind, why don't you shut your mouth until you can say anything remotely intelligent.
