Re: Breaking news from the BBC

Sadly, it's not my Chinese-American family. Peter is busying himself for his plans to visit Bora Bora. No time for this.
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Nope. No way. Not gonna happen.

The Bible itself says that believers should not be "unequally yoked."

      2 Corinthians 6:14

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And if I weren't for the instructions in the Bible, then I can think of no reason to be married to a Republican.

Re: Breaking news from the BBC

There is only one godly station I know of, and that is FOX News. Not saying there were no Christians in the UK. But all I know is that God hates the UK overall, and sadly he does hate New Zealand too, both countries are nearly as ungodly as Poland or Sweden. On the other hand, those people could join the New Jerusalem if they wanted too. Luckily not all who say they were Christians are Mormons, Catholics, Pentecostals or Presbyterians. As for the UK however, I see little hope. There is nothing godly about the Church of England. It is more like a Church of Atheism.

Are believers even allowed in their Bible Colleges, training for their clergy?

I made it a minute and a half. Once he said the virus was indeed of Chinese origin and she said she'd like to pay more taxes instead of saying, "Yes dear," it was all over.

          UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE - AN IDEA
Why not determine how many voters are in a household, sons, domestic staff, chauffeurs, menial workers, their sons, wives, daughters and so on then allocate the property owner that many votes?

          EXAMPLE
          ..4 SONS
          ..1 DOMESTIC m
          ..2 DOMESTIC f
          ..1 CHAUFFEUR
          ..1 MENIAL m
          ..1 MENIAL f
          ..3 THEIR SONS
          ..4 WIVES (aggregate)
          ..2 DAUGHTERS (aggregate)
          19 = weighting
          ..1 OWNER
          20 TOTAL VOTES ALLOCATED

This avoids the possibility of a communist wife or homosexual gardener saying that yes, they'll vote as directed but then doing something else, something likely to bring down ruin on everyone. It happened in France and they didn't have suffrage at all!

A weighted ballot of this type also avoids the problem of employees more generally. If they run their own establishment (a factory manager, say) then they get a weighted ballot. If they're a starving artist living in a garret, they don't own property and would be covered by the garret owner. If you have someone who comes in (cleaner, maybe) they can't claim not to belong in your weighting calculation. Does this make sense or have I got it all wrong?

I mean, it's well-meaning but you have forgotten to account for ethnic status. I'm thinking of how many Mexicans live in a 1bed studio compared to decent white folk. There ought to be a cap based on Mexicans per square foot.

I don't know much about Mexicans. Do they own the studio?

This one's not the BBC but close (The Guardian). The "news" report:

It's been a strange trip. Four years ago, who would've thought Biden might win Iowa?
In 2016, Trump won the state by nine percentage points. Now it is in play – and a bellwether for the country
                The facts:
                Donald Trump 53.2%
                Joe Biden 45%
It's proof all the liberal stream media are liars. Now back to the BBC.

In addition to being completely droll, this story fails to make the most important point. Nobody should try to ease the burdens of childbirth, because that is contrary to God's plan!

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Genesis 3:16

It's rather fortunate that she made a prosperous marriage then. Because as a rule, women who are unable to understand the sort of simple arithmetic one teaches to the under-8s end up as hairdressers or worse. And apparently she couldn't do that either.

Still, at least she wasn't reduced to whoring herself around cable TV networks. Her husband isn't ginger, and her future employment prospects as a state-funded smiler and waver are promising. All in all she has done pretty well.
