This is great news for Christianity! We are about to be hearing a lot more about God in the media.
Fan dies after 20-foot fall

ARLINGTON, Texas -- A male fan has died after falling over the outfield railing and landing on the concrete behind the out-of-town scoreboard at the Rangers Ballpark during the second inning of Thursday's game between the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics.
The left-field wall is 14 feet high and the fan went headfirst over the railing, which is a few feet higher, for an approximately 20-foot drop. There was an audible gasp in the stands when the man tumbled over the rail, eerily similar to an accident last July when a man fell about 30 feet from the second deck of seats down the right-field line while trying to catch a foul ball. The area where the man fell Thursday is out of sight from the field.
The fan, wearing a blue Rangers cap and white Rangers shirt, was seated in the front row with his young son. According to others seated near him, the man was yelling at Rangers left fielder Josh Hamilton
Here is where it's a good thing. More on that on the flip side.
for a foul ball that was hit by Conor Jackson and ricocheted into left field in the second inning. Hamilton flipped the ball toward the fan and the fan leaned over, caught it and toppled over in the gap between the railing and the back of the scoreboard on the left-field fence.
After the game, the team, including Hamilton, was told what happened.
"I think as any of us would be, Josh is very distraught over this as the entire team is,"
For those of you who don't know, Josh Hamilton is currently God's favorite baseball player.
Like many of us he was a sinner in his life before Salvation. Like many of us he turned his life over to Jesus.
The lowest point for him was during a crack binge in October 2005, which would end up being his last. Josh found himself, in the early morning hours, lying on his grandmother’s doorstep, his body nearly completely wasted away. He had exiled himself from the support of his wife, stepdaughter, and his family.
In June 2006, Josh Hamilton received the news that Major League Baseball had reinstated his eligibility. A few weeks later, his nightmare returned. But this time, as Hamilton tells the story, when fighting the devil, there was another fighting beside him, Jesus Christ. Hamilton says that he was filled with the strength of the Lord, and together they defeated the devil.
A collective awwww and swoon for the hunky family man who loves America, his grandma and Jesus. Yes, I know he has tattoos, but he is working to remove them. He is properly ashamed of them now.
You cannot have an interview with Josh Hamilton without him promoting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All I can say is we can look forward to much more of this in the wake of this incident and endless talk about Hamilton's hard start and reconversion to Christ and that is a good thing, brothers and sisters.
If God had to toss one man to his death so that God can be glorified, that is directly from His Word!
As it is written in Romans 9:16-17
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
I say, Thank you LORD! Your will be done.
