Those are simply wonderful posters Sister Etheldreda. Every True Christian™ home should have those pasted to refrigerator magnets and posted in the kitchen as a daily reminder of God's wondrous creation.

The narrative reminds us that "evolution" violates the Second Law of Thermodynamics ("for evolution to work, new information is needed"), and by these "scientist's" own "laws" evolution isn't possible with increasing entropy. I call it the law of ThermoGodamics.

The "carbonaria" form of the peppered moth was already known to have existed. This is not an example of "evolution", but one of adaptation. If you are offering it as an example of "evolution" then it is a counterexample of "chance mutation" and evolution requiring millions of years. "Variation" only occurs with "information" that is already there in the genes due to sexual reproduction.

The peppered moth example is quite an achilles heel for the evolutionists. Both variations still exist and are not one thing turning into another. It's like black people and white people. They exist in their own environment. Black peppered moths where dark surfaces are and light coloured moths where light surfaces are. It's the same with people. White people where homes and jobs are, black people where ghettos and crime are.

You haven't got a clue what you're talking about, have you. What happened in that case was that as the industrial pollution reduced the light coloured moths were less easily seen, the dark ones were conspicuous and the dark ones got eaten. The moths as a whole "became" light again. They were still moths. What would happen if the environment suddenly turned mauve? There are no mauve moths in that species so they'd all get eaten and those moths would be extinct.

In order to survive (to be "selected for") the characteristic needs to ALREADY exist. It doesn't suddenly appear in response to changing environmental factors! When gazelles with short necks started competing with giraffes, the short necked giraffes karked it. Only the long necked giraffes survived. THEY ALREADY HAD LONG NECKS. The ones with long necks could eat the high foliage leaving the lower foliage to the gazelles. Short necked giraffes (freaks) did not survive. The gazelles did not turn into giraffes so that they could get more leaves.

When God made giraffes (day 6 in the morning) he made them perfect and He did not create some other sorts of giraffes with short necks. Any such would have been degenerates blighted by the disgusting choice of Eve, endorsed by Adam: sin. With sin came death. Nothing died until then. There were no "early" life forms to "evolve" and no time (billions of years you say) for natural selection to kill anything off.

Do get your facts straight.

Considering we have roughly 6000 years to see evolution, yes, it's hard to believe. In fact, it's quite impossible. However, we are blessed in that God loves us enough to send us His Word, not only a guide for us to know how to serve and love Him, but as natural history resource as well.

It is true. I often purchase attractive cotton bed-sheets when travelling and am revolted to see that the most comfortable Indian prints are sold in shops that only sell nose jewellery and dog food (and bed linen of course). These shops tend to be found in the more bohemian "red light" districts. It's disgusting!

The evolution of the peppered moth over the last two hundred years has been studied in detail. Originally, the vast majority of peppered moths had light colouration, which effectively camouflaged them against the light-coloured trees and lichens which they rested upon. However, because of widespread pollution during the Industrial Revolution in England, many of the lichens died out, and the trees that peppered moths rested on became blackened by soot, causing most of the light-coloured moths, or typica, to die off from predation. At the same time, the dark-coloured, or melanic, moths, carbonaria, flourished because of their ability to hide on the darkened trees. As a result of the relatively simple and easy-to-understand circumstances of the adaptation, the peppered moth has become a common example used in explaining or demonstrating natural selection.

I hope this cleared things up for you guys, so you can renounce your dated 'Christianity' and join the rest of the 21st century. There is no doubt about the Theory of Evolution, guys.

Nobody here has denied microevolution, or adaptations within a species. A prime example of this is dogs; they are all developed from wolves. Moths of the same species increasing or decreasing in dominance is just barely evidence of microevolution, and very weak evidence at that.

However, there still remains no solid evidence of macroevolution, the change from one species to another. Can you show us where your moths became toads, for example? NO? Of course not! Because there are "missing links".
