    WHOSE dog is this?

It was running around my backyard when I got home from church, and I put it in the garage meeting room.

    I am...at a loss.

EDIT: It just broke into the freezer out there, and ate 2 whole legs of lamb

Mistress Cookie, wasn't Mother of Seven whining recently something about a lost dog? I certainly hope this thing is not hers!

Sorry, can't help you, I have never seen that dog in my life.

Oh, but Miss Cookie! Another thing about you came to my mind all of a sudden when I saw your post. I happened to hear from one of your neighbors that they've lost pretty valuable pearl necklace possibly near your house when they were chasing off some pie thieving nigra. The asked me to ask you if you have seen it laying on the ground, because they are too embarrassed to ask themselves. So if you see this valuable necklace on your yard, could you please contact me.

Mistress Cookie, why don't you leave those Hollywood Hills and go to the safety of Freehold's gates? I am concerned about you, dear.

Definitely not one of my dogs! My dogs are True Dogs (tm). That looks like Satan's dog. I'll lock mine up though. I would hate to think that that thing might corrupt my innocent dogs.

My first thought was Free From Brains, but I don't want to be seen as intolerant of a fashionista. Any chance that FFB was looking for jewels (or more)?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention: Polly at the Church™ Offices was supposed to change that profile long ago. Like, YEARS ago. I will know the reason it was not updated.

I still have a house (in probate) in the Hollywood Hills from my past, but have been in my snug, wee little cottage on Woodlawn Drive in Freehold for...gosh, it seems like forever!

I know who it belongs to!

                  Sister Jan Crouch.

She must still be on vacation. She would positively DIE if she knew her little Jezzie Bell were out on the loose. I bet her lazy Messicant housekeeper is watching that poor pooch.

Isn't it adorable how dogs look like their owners.

Sister Cookie, can you give Sister Jan a call and let her know you have her?

Oh, I will. And I'll also be sending her a bill for all the meat that mutt's been dragging out of the freezer!

I don't know what Jan usually feeds her (or if she does at all) but....!

                      UPDATE:

It's not Jan's dog. I reached her and she's doing missionary work in Africa, bringing Superstar Barbie dolls to the natives.

She says she brought Jezzie Belle with her for protection against the lions. And locals.

This animal is vicious! I was just trying to take its shoes off to make it more comfortable (and thinking I could do some charity work by incorporating them into my wardrobe) and it SNAPPED at me!

Then it ate another pot roast.

I'm a little embarrassed to say this...

Well you know I am a widower.... This has been a very cold winter....

I went out the other night without eating any dinner (no wife to cook it for me and I gag if I try to eat something Tammy Faith has touched) and I had a few glasses of wine.

What I'm trying to say is this may not be a dog, it may be my new fiancé . My memory is a bit fuzzy.

I'm not saying that is definitely my new fiancé but the hair color brings back some memories. As does the biting and the love for pot roast.

Just please come get it, someone. Since it's not Jan's I don't care what happens to it. Its tights are filling up and if they explode, the whole carpet's ruined.

And don't shoot the wretched thing inside; the paint's by Donald Kaufman Color and it's $125 a gallon.

Ask her opinion on classic Tammy Fae Baker. If that doesn't get her to talk then it's not her. She wouldn't shut up about it the other night.

You can ask her yourself when you come get her. I am going out on errands.

I hope she has to be driven back to Des Moines or somewhere. This is not a Freehold dog!
