Well that's a good question. I look at Saudi Arabia, and I see how women are completely subservient to men in all things, and the sexes are kept completely separate, and I must confess that seems really nice. I think that if everybody in Saudi Arabia would just accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior, Saudi Arabia might be almost as good as the United States.

There is a lot of hate here and outright disrespect for someone because they are of a different faith from yourself...isn't that a little extreme and radical?

Some of the posters are outright condescending and rude.

A few, however, are actually decent folk who don't feel the need to be hostile from the get go (Pastor J.C. Manning for example)...

People should be made to feel welcome, no?

Yes, I agree with you. We should totally pretend that there's nothing wrong or bad about a destructive belief system which encourages violence against women. Making a person who adheres to such a belief system feel comfortable and safe in his beliefs is far more important than addressing the terrible consequences of his dogma, and making him feel nice is far more important than standing up for all the innocent people who've been harmed by his religion.

You have addressed none of the important issues in this thread. You avoid discussion by insisting that all faiths are equal by default. Yet you have not defended your position that pederasty is culturally relative. You say it as though everyone should agree automatically, and we have no right to judge rapists and child molesters, so long as they band together and form an oppressive theocratic state to enforce their violent sex crimes as an institution.

None of those false doctrines were ever included in the King James Bible, and thus did not need to be removed from it.
