  • Amish put their trust in God, not in vaccines

The Amish certainly are odd people, but we need to give credit where credit is due: they trust the Lord rather than medicine, just like God wants all Christians to do:

    James 5:14-16
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I apologize for the link leading to "South Bend Tribune" (as you already know, South Bend is a homosexual hotbed), but the somewhat more reputable Detroit News article is behind a paywall.

Michigan's Amish put trust in God, not COVID-19 vaccines

CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — As this rural township in southern Michigan turned into an Amish enclave, older residents nursed grievances against their new neighbors.

The quiet quibbling turned into a full-throated roar last year when the Amish, in the middle of a pandemic, held a wedding attended by several hundred people.

Residents lit up the phones of the police and took to the ramparts, that is, social media. They said the Amish were always getting away with stuff, didn’t care about anyone but themselves, that every person at the wedding should be arrested...
The religious group presents a two-headed dilemma for county health departments.

For one thing, their communal way of living makes the Amish highly susceptible to the contagious disease. For another, they eschew vaccines or, for that matter, any type of protection, including masks...

When Gov. Gretchen Whitmer imposed a COVID-19-related lockdown in March, the Amish closed their businesses around the state and stopped going to church, say health officials. Within several weeks, they began venturing out again.

Whitmer limited the size of gatherings, but the Amish don’t do small. Their families are big. Their celebrations are big. Their quilting bees are big.

In September, a baptism for three children drew 300 people to a farm in Bronson, said Lovina Eicher, the grandmother of one of the children...

The Amish refuse to seek refuge from man-made materials, they say. They would rather put their trust in God. If he decides it’s time to go, it’s time to go.

Reuben Wickey, 36,of California Township, said he knew the dangers of the disease but was content putting his life in God’s hands.

“We worry like everybody,” he said while standing next to several broken-down buggies in his pole barn. “We follow the good Lord’s way.”
Amen! The Amish look funny, talk funny, smell funny, and use iron chariots which certainly displeases the Lord (Judges 1:19), but this is the one time when we all need to follow their example.

I have been hearing rumors about some elderly folk in Freehold getting clandestine appointments for the Covid vaccine. (I know names but I won't mention them, there is still time to cancel your appointments). Really?! You want to be less Christian than the Amish?! Unbelievable!

I'll end with another verse. I think it clearly tells us the size of faith in some of our elderly church members.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
God created fossils to test our faith.

Say what you will about the Amish (and there's a lot to say, they are a hilarious looking bunch!), they won't have chips implanted in their brain by government stooges. I mean, have you ever wondered why the most contagious virus ever known to man, one that is supposedly spread through the breath, needs to be checked way, way, deep up inside the nostril? How come every single bacteria and virus can be checked from blood or saliva but this one requires invasive, fool long Q-tips to get to? I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but I believe they are using these "check" to implant a chip into the brain of sheeple. I also think they're getting the population used to deep probes. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but when they come out with anal probes to check if the vaccine worked, I'll just be sitting back telling everyone I told them so.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Great observation, Sister Mary. If we know anything about deep state we know it comes up with ideas to control us. A chip planted in our throats would be something it would do. Not only that, but I've that part of our respiratory system is very close to our brain. Maybe that is its real destination. This entire convid thing is based on socialism followed by communism. Karl Marx is nodding his approval.

I still can't tell the difference between religious Jews and the Amish. They look exactly the same-or at least the men do. With clothes on, of course. Which is honestly the only way I've ever seen them. It would be easy to tell if they walked around naked, or so I'm told.

I think the main difference is that the Amish didn't kill Jesus.

Say what you want about the Amishm, they're big Trump supporters.

Welcome to the most important site in the world. We hope you can contribute to its success in bringing the world to Jesus. Please proceed to the introduction heading and tell us about yourself, your church and children.

As to your comment about the Amish supporting Trump, their support may be important. When Trump arrives at the Capitol in August we can expect armed Feds to resist his entrance. He, Rudy, and his staff will need to force their way past these jack boots to enter the Oval Office. How to do this is the question?

I'm thinking guns will be taken immediately by the Feds. So will anything that looks like a weapon, baseball bats for example. But if an army of Amish farmers showed up with pitch forks the feds would not know what to do. Farmers on their way to the hay fields cannot be illegal.

That's the problem with the Amish. Sure, they follow a lot of God's laws, but by no means ALL of them. They are cowards who refuse to fight. You'll find no Baptists cherrypicking Bible verses to dodge the draft, but Anabaptists? Heretics, the whole bunch of them.

That said, a bunch of patriots DRESSED as Amishmen with pitch forks and scythes...

Wouldn't take much effort to disguise these guys as Amish. Or Jihadis.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
                Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

I'm sorry I can't look at a picture of Amish men without laughing. They're like the French when it comes to fighting wars except they lost their entire country in the process. Amishland? Amersham? No such place. They're pathetic losers, if I were a liberal I would convert them to tofu and wellness in about 15 seconds and brand them with my initials and they would beg for illegal drugs and orgiastic anal sex with farm animals. That's how much we can depend on the Amish.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I have a friend who was recently talking to (I think) some Amish, or had questions, whatever. Perhaps you could help me with some answers? Which aspects of God's Plan do they follow and which do they overlook?

The Amish are sissy pacifists. There are numerous Bible verses exhorting us to commit acts of violence, and they ignore every single one of those. One thing the Bible doesn't say is that men have to grow long beards, but the Amish treat this like its of of the 10 Commandments. Likewise, God certainly doesn't tell us to spurn modern technology but the Amish have based their entire identity around this idiosyncrasy. Leviticus 20:15, God forbids bestiality, but that doesn't stop Amishmen from screwing their horses. Also they refuse to follow the law of the land (in violation of the Bible) and only send their kids to school up to the eighth grade. All American children have a right to an education through high school, unless they happen to be born to some Amish people.

Hobbits wear buttons on their clothes, which the Amish think is prideful. The Amish wear shoes, which Hobbits have never heard of.
