That is one of The Worst Fakes Ever! Look at the size of those "footprints" and then look at how close together they are. Any creature that produced them would have to have unfeasibly short legs relative to the size of its feet, so that its belly would be dragging on the ground and WOULD HAVE ERASED THE FOOTPRINTS!!!!

They have called it Gigantopithecus blacki, which I guess must be Chinese for enormous hairy black thing? Though how they knew it was black and hairy on the basis of a tooth is unclear.

"Astonishing" well yes, it would be. "Evidence"? "12 million years ago"? They are also claiming it was around 10 feet tall and weighed 1,300 pounds. Do they take us for credulous fools?

We need to send someone there to talk to the locals. They are always smarter than the scientists. Some years ago two local guys drank some beer, talked about bigfoot and cut some bigfoot footprints out of plywood. One strapped his shoes to the plywood and walked around the woods. Sure enough, scientists swarmed in to photograph and measure bigfoots tracks.

In this case, it looks like the locals with dirt bikes have outsmarted the scientists again.

The Bible narrates time back to the creation, so in that sense there are no prehistoric beasts. Every animal that has lived has lived in the last 6000 years so they are catalogued and known from God's Word in the Bible. There may be some insects and other unimportant animals that were not taken onto the Ark and who have disappeared from history, but they are unknown and obviously not part of God's plan.


Many beasts mentioned in the Bible were single beasts with no herd so they could not be some kind of critter roaming around the Earth in a pack and thus could not be a part of some kind of mythical species. Some were dark spirits under the whip of the Devil, but again- they were but few, summoned up from the depths of Hell as needed.


So no, these beasts were real and not part of a fairy tale about some kind of monsters that lived a million years ago.

Dear Miss Fritzensteine: Well, I am not an expert on this, by any means, but from what I can gather, and as Brother Moss has said so eloquently, it is possible that some animals that did not make it onto the Ark. Besides that, if they were very large, as we're led to believe, then there would have been no room on the ship. If that is the case, then, of course, they did not survive the terrible flood and are most likely unknown to us. And, who came up with the term "dinosaur", anyway? You know, just because museums will feature "life-size" models of various creatures does not mean that I can believe they actually existed. I've said all along that the discovery of "fossils" are actually things that were planted by Satan, as a poor attempt to confuse and distract followers from concentrating on the glories of the .

You see, Dear, such distractions will serve to make sinners forget the truth of what should, truly, concern them:

There isn't a single mention of dinosaurs anywhere in the Bible. The large skeletons belong to dragons. The Bible tells us about dragons 34 times.

I was particularly impressed that that was written so long after The Flood. The 91st Psalm does not include an author's name:

These dates, on any standard used by dinosaur proponents, are so massively out of range as to be laughable. If dragons had died out (being dinosaurs) in 65,432,100 BC how could they have gotten onto The Ark? And if they had not done so, how would anyone know what they sounded like? Now sometimes we hear that phrases are used metaphorically. It could be argued that dragon trampling is a poetic description of something. Of what, exactly, I can't imagine. Probably a mental image: danger, vile power – and indeed by cherry picking Scripture other examples could be found. Malachi, for instance, might have been using poetry to represent the blasting of Esau. "Dragons of the wilderness" would describe dust devils or skin red raw from wind-driven sand, raging thirst, hallucinations from heat stroke and so on.

Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

I'm not actually making that claim, just a suggestion of how someone running billion-year clocks needs to think. But it's not thinking really, is it.

Micah 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Because Micah also refers to dragons IN THE CONTEXT OF KNOWN AND LIVING CREATURES. He is describing a type of sound. Yes, I've heard an owl; I know what type of sound is being referred to. As did the readers back then – otherwise what was the point of mentioning it at all? A dragon's wailing was equally familiar. Not to me perhaps but certainly to Micah's immediate readership. As familiar as an owl. If not, he might as well have written "I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the orgleflocktramine" since if dragons were supposed to be extinct a hundred million years ago an orgleflocktramine would be as useless as a dinosaur regarding its wails and grunts.

Micah was specific because he had a specific message which needed to be understood. It related to graven images, idols, harlotry, rolling in the dust, naked shame and mourning. So a very important message; he used familiar things in his message helping us to understand that the fossil timeline and God's timeline have nothing in common. Nothing in common at all.
