General John Sheehan blames Dutch sodomites! -
03-19-2010, 07:47 AM
I love it when people tell it like it is, and call a spade a spade.
Quote:
Retired US general John Sheehan links Srebrenica genocide to gays in Dutch UN troops
THE Netherlands has rejected a retired US general's claim that Dutch UN troops failed to prevent the 1995 Srebrenica genocide because their ranks included openly gay soldiers.
``It is astonishing that a man of his stature can utter such complete nonsense,'' defence ministry spokesman Roger van de Wetering told AFP.
John Sheehan, a former NATO commander and senior Marine officer, made the remarks at a Senate hearing where he argued against plans by President Barack Obama to end a ban on allowing gays to serve openly in the US military.
``The case in point that I'm referring to is when the Dutch were required to defend Srebrenica against the Serbs,'' he said, referring to the UN peacekeeping force deployed to protect Bosnian Muslim civilians.
``The Srebrenica massacre and the involvement of UN soldiers was extensively investigated by the Netherlands, international organisations and the United Nations. Never was there in any way concluded that the sexual orientation of soldiers played a role,'' said Van de Wetering.
Sheehan claimed that Dutch leaders, including the former chief of staff of the Dutch army, had told him that the presence of gay soldiers had contributed to the fall of Srebrenica.
|
Of course, one has to wonder why on earth you'd want to defend a few sand dwellers. Srebrenica is probably somewhere in Arabia, isn't it?
Still: proof positive that allowing queers into the army turns all your troops into limp wristed poofters who giggle when they see a gun.
Thank you Sir Sheehan!
Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

It could be because the enemy saw them coming a mile off.

Amen Brother. Their nickname used to be "Dutchbat-ting for the other side" BTW.
I actually believe it is now a requirement to be a homer when you join the Dutch army. Normal straight folks would upset the cozy relations.
Maybe we should ask them to go and "protect" the Taliban - problem solved.

You can see why Europe is slipping. Iceland and now the Netherlands. This article motivated me to draft one of my first Mayorial declarations: No gays on the Freehold Police Force.
If they can't stand up to the Serbs, we can't trust them to keep Freehold citizens safe.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Hi, well I'm Dutch, and I can't even begin to understand this backward way of thinking. It's this one-track-mind way of thinking that's causing our planet to fall apart.
Jesus doesn't speak of hatred anywhere in the bible.
Jesus doesn't speak of outcasts anywhere in the bible.
Jesus doesn't speak of war as a good thing anywhere in the bible.
Jesus was more open minded 2000 years ago, than most American Christians are today...

Same old story. A GODly military man has the bravery to stand up against big government, and this is the thanks he gets.
It's a pretty pathetic attempt on the part of a government to deny a link between the sexual orientation of its soldiers and the ability of its military to function.
It's a simple formula: The more prancing nancy queer soldiers you have, the fewer real soldiers you have, as the gays are all getting distracted on the battle field by their comrades' military physique.

You know what "wide open"? In any other western country than your own, you would be laughed at. But you show yourself to be ignorant about other countries in the world.
I have cracked open a bible, as you suggest I haven't. But I was taught the "meaning" of it. Not the letter. And the true meaning, my dear sir, is peace. But I guess a country that still chooses killing over healing, will need every letter in the bible that can be abused to support that theory.
And I beg of you, please don't use my God to justify your hatred.

So it's your contention that only parts of the Bible apply?
I would quote,
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
but you'll probably just say that it isn't Jesus. It's just one of His apostles.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Apparently, your god isn't the God of the Bible. Perhaps you can point out where Pastor WO is wrong, Scripturally speaking.

"Jesus does not hate anyone."
That's not true. God hates the sin AND the sinner, and Jesus is God (John 10:30 I and my Father are one.).
Quote:
Lev 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
|
Please read the WHOLE Bible before it's too late.
Before you complain about the the fact that the verses I cited were from the Old Testament, as if that somehow makes them worthless, consider this:
In the Old Testament, it says that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5).
In the New Testament, what does Jesus say that he is going to do to these workers of iniquity? Is he going to love them? Is he going to be their pal, and tell them that it's ok to be themselves? Let's see...
Quote:
Matt 13:41-42 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
|
I pray that you have found this enlightening.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Actually, if you bothered to read the Bible, you would know the entire book of Revelation is quoting Jesus. The book begins with the author (John) meeting Jesus, the rest of the book is describing what Jesus lets him know about the future.

So someone told you what parts to read to make you feel good?
Try reading the whole Bible. And we're not using your god (satan) to justify anything.
You will never be saved until you meet the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD!
