Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles announced last year that after a two-year investigation into Armstrong and his cycling teammates, they closed the investigation without filing any charges. Armstrong was being investigated for drug trafficking, money laundering, defrauding the government.

A spokesperson for the United States Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles tells RadarOnline.com, “We’re not commenting on Lance.”

Winfrey appeared on "CBS This Morning," telling hosts about the interview she taped with Armstrong on Monday: "We were mesmerized and riveted by some of his answers. I feel that he answered the questions in a way that he was ready. ... He certainly had prepared himself for this moment. ... He brought it. He really did."

It's a sad day for America when a selfless, humble, unassuming, down-home, Texas good ol' boy like Lance becomes a target of the Socialist Wealth Redistribution Machine. The Feds just want to be able to sue Lance and takes his hard earned millions and give it to welfare cheats and illegal immigrants. I'm almost embarrassed to be an American right now!

After watching that interview, it was clear that he only "confessed" under duress. People will say anything under that kind of torture, just look at how John McCain confessed to being a "black pirate" and a war criminal under North Vietnamese interrogation.

Oprah is using the same interrogation techniques that the media did to produce "evidence" of torture at Abu Graib. Were people tortured into false confessions at Abu Graib? There's no evidence, unless you believe confessions from people who were under duress.

Those hippies at The Economist are joining in the lynch mob, claiming that as a role model Lance is supposed to be setting an example - by NOT breaking the rules. The latest attack in the liberal war on chemical sports enhancement: a petition has caused gatorade to remove a flame retardant from its ingredients, merely because it causes "neurological impairment, reduced fertility, changes in thyroid hormones and puberty at an earlier age".And according to wikipedia "memory loss, tremors, fatigue, loss of muscle coordination, headache, and ptosis...as well as elevated serum chloride."

Most of those "symptoms" are bonuses, I would have killed to have puberty at a earlier age - I celebrated my first pimple - the memory loss part means that you won't even remember all the other side effects. You'll just have the sports trophies with no idea how you got them - fine by me.

But obviously the liberals don't care about public heath. The obvious agenda is to cause spontaneous human combustion among jocks everywhere.

I can just see the liberal talking points we'll be hearing endlessly - that unregulated corporations will poison people for profits, jocks are so stupid they'll drink chemical sludge and think it makes them run faster (or watch sports better) blah blah blah. Well if corporations poisoned their customers, they would go out of business since dead people don't buy things. That's why there's flame retardant in drinks - fireproof people live longer, and therefore buy more gatorade.

And jocks aren't stupid toxic-waste drinkers, we're actually pioneers in free-market firefighting - why bother with expensive government fire departments and regulations when we can just drink fire retardant instead?
