Just a quick note, here, to fill you in on what those crazy liberals over at Westboro Baptist are up to: Picketing Elizabeth Edwards's funeral! Praise!

In a promotional flier for the upcoming protest, the church references John and Elizabeth Edwards's son Wade, who died in a car crash in 1996:

"When they were visited from the Most High God with the death of their 16-year-old son, they did not humble themselves before His mighty hand. They reared up in rage, decided they would show God who is boss, and meddled in matters of the womb, resulting in 2 more children -- now motherless."

The church goes on to claim that she is now a "resident of hell, where her rebellion and rage will take full flower."

Thank you brother Larry.

I just cant help feeling sorry for the Westboro Baptist Church. If only the very reverand Pastor Phelps had the strength to root out the liberals amongst his congregation and expel them from his church. Perhaps his teachings on morality and the good Lord's word, could be heard more clearly.

As it is, I think it only right to offer Phelps what help we can and take up his baton to proclaim to all we encounter that God hates Elizabeth Edwards and the spawn from her vile and poisonous womb.

Fred allows his wife Shirley to be their spokesperson clearly against, Paul's rule in 1 Timothy 2:12.

I find their watered down lieberal form of being a "baptist" to be laughable.

This is just the sort of thing that concerns me about Phelps.

The Bible makes it clear in Revelation that sinners WILL be resurrected into bodily form at Judgment, THEN cast into Hell for eternity. This is the Second Death.

Elizabeth Edwards WILL go to Hell, of this there is no doubt . . . but right now, she's dead and unknowing.

I find their watered down lieberal form of being a "baptist" to be laughable.

She's just Fred's mouth piece and I think Shirley is both his wife and his daughter. The man reminds me of Lot in that regard. Most people are going to miss heaven by a mile but old Fred is going to miss it by inches. Hey, rules are rules.

Fred tends to be a bit too liberal for my tastes but one must admire his strident battle against homers and their enablers.

I must admit that I know very little about Westboro. I saw them on the news last night and read some of the signs they carry around.

I liked the signs that said, "God hates Obama" and "God hates fags."

However, I was disturbed and confused about the signs that call for death on our Godly military men. Does anyone here know what that's all about? It upset me.

Westboro believes that we are involved in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars because America supports the homosexual agenda by not stoning them to death.

Every American soldier killed is thus a punishment from God for coddling queers.

I, for one, have read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Edwards and the tract by WBC. God's opinion of her lifestyle as a lawyer is conveyed in Isaiah 59:4 Luke 11:45-52 and Luke 11:52 ; these are but a few references.

There is little doubt that WBC has it right and is firm in relying upon God's Word; She is now in Hell. Let us not forget that each death carries with it a message from God; how much clearer could the message from Elizabeth Edwards' demise be?

I wish one of the publicity experts at Landover Baptist Church could take Pastor Fred under his wing and teach Fred how to communicate.

Pastor Fred's message is just to subtel. He needs to be most direct in telling the public what he really thinks about homers. The same thing applys to the views he attributes to God, like "God Hates Fags".

When people have to read between the lines to understand what the writer really thinks, the message does not get through.

I do not support the liberal Democrat policies of Westboro Baptist Church, but sometimes their Center-Left take on the issues are correct, as they are in this case of picketing "Liz" Edwards' funeral. She was a blight on humanity, as God told her in no uncertain terms by giving her a raging case of tit cancer (God's Hallmark Card for Harlotry!!).

Wow! Thanks for the explanation. I find their way of thinking on this to be mind boggling since the majority of those who serve and have served are NOT homers. Additionally, not all Americans support homers being in the military or even on the streets.
