people may be strip-searched after arrests for violating a leash law, driving without a license and failing to pay child support. Citing examples from briefs submitted to the Supreme Court, Justice Breyer wrote that people have been subjected to “the humiliation of a visual strip-search” after being arrested for driving with a noisy muffler, failing to use a turn signal and riding a bicycle without an audible bell.

A nun was strip-searched, he wrote, after an arrest for trespassing during an antiwar demonstration. So were victims of sexual assaults and women who were menstruating.

Justice Kennedy responded that “people detained for minor offenses can turn out to be the most devious and dangerous criminals.”

He's got a point. Also, people detained at random can too. I like the new code-word for unlimited police-state power:

Agree whole hearty with the Justices. People can be so sensitive these days. Use a poorly chosen word in a thoughtless moment and people will turn on you and go violent!

Full body cavity searches are must! You never know when the perp is some violent drugged up crazy.

Thank you for you loyal support. We security specialists are there for the worst case scenario, unlike the public cops like Officer Richards. By definition every citizen's arrest we do is Serra Hotel and the perp must be treated with extra caution. Like tasering, cavity searches are must before the scene can be declared 5x5 secured and turned back over to the city police to tuck the public back into bed.

Keep in mind being officer friendly like you see the public police do gets you killed in my job. Their job is to keep the civies happy, mine is to stop things from getting worse. There just isn't the time for niceties. So it is good to know SCOTUS has our backs.

This sounds like the kind of job I bring a lot of experience to.

I was conducting strip searches long before September 11 made them widely popular.

I revolutionized body cavity searches from merely using a flashlight.

I have the suspect remove all of his or her clothing, and then I hit them in the stomach with my flashlight. This is far more effective in dislodging any drugs or weapons they may be smuggling in their anuses than merely asking them to squat and cough.
