As a Christian, I would NEVER ignore any part of the Bible. I was pointing out that you baptists online at this forum have deeply misunderstood the Old Testament teachings. "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth" kinds of payback should only come from God to punish sinners, not to be done by humans who have all sinned ourselves. When payback comes from God, it's punishment. However, when revenge comes from humans, it's just clearly wrong.

Now I have a question for you: By what authority do you have to be the judge of all people?

That is not ambiguous, it is an instruction - no judgement involved.

Leviticus 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.

Seems pretty specific to me. perhaps you have a special way of reading the Bible.

Evidence for your arrogance and hypocrisy is pretty self-explanatory. You and your wicked baptist pastors treat both atheists and christians who only believe what the Bible actually says worse than dogs. Telling people to go to hell is obviously not your business nor job.

Jesus never did that. He said that, but it does not mean what you've been told it does (another example of the importance of looking at things in context). Please see my response to someone else who misunderstood that passage here.

Nope I only read and interpret the Bible as it says. You're pointing fingers at the wrong person because the only people who speak blasphemy by having a crazily morally wrong misunderstanding of the Lord's holy word are the very sinful baptist pastors/forum members(except for me and a few other Christians online who only believe what the Bible actually says).

Then why do the Scriptures I quoted say that they were instructions for dealing with malefactors to the Israelites from God (via Moses)? Why would God tell the Israelites to do something if He didn't want them to?
