    A Catholic's favorite Bible verses

Don't worry, this is not a post support Catholicism, just some quotes from the Bible I've heard and liked. I can't remember the exactly books/chapters they are in right now, but I'll look it up someday.

"Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child"

    "Cleanliness is Next to Godliness"

"God Helps Those Who Help Themselves"

"Money is the Root of All Evil"

"Pride Goes (Or Comes) Before a Fall"

"A fool and his money are soon parted"

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

    Moderation in all things

    Once saved, always saved

"It is better to cast your seed in the belly of a whore than to spill it on the ground."

    To thine ownself be true

    This too shall pass

    God works in mysterious ways

The eye is the window to the soul

The lion shall lay down with the lamb

    We three kings of Orient are;
    Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
    Following yonder star.

Dear Jesus: Thank You for the sacrifice You made for me. Please forgive me for all of my past sins. I repent of these actions, and with Your help, I will change and not repeat them again. I know I am not worthy; but, I willingly accept You as my Lord and my Savior, and I thank You for Your blessings over my family and me.

    The Seven Deadly Sins
    Gluttony
    Greed
    Sloth
    Lust
    Vanity
    Envy
    Wrath

    prayer changes things

    let go, let God

God will never give you more than you can handle

Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned

God will forgive your sins and place them in the sea of forgetfulness and bring them up no more.

    Ask Jesus into your heart

    Accept Jesus

I gave Jesus permission to be the Lord of my life.

Well God has done all he could by sending Jesus to the cross to die for your sins, now it is up to you to complete the transaction by accepting Him. It is like God giving you a check with His signature on it but it does not become effective until you co-sign it

God pleads with sinners to accept Him

God looked down through the years and saw who was going to accept Christ and therefore named them as His predestined elect

God loves the Sinner but He hates the sin

Sins are like the stars in the sky, one shines as great as another.

Wisemen visited Jesus in the manager

You can be so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good

    Charity begins at home:

Do those who know you, but don't know Christ, want to know Christ because they know you?

A number of those are just sayings, they're not in the Bible. Others are taken out of context.

But what do you expect from a bunch of pedo's. I'm amazed that there isn't something in there about "taking one for your 'father'".

which is supported by scripture and gives us the biblical truth that all stars are the same size - some are just farther away than others.

Those are bumper sticker slogans, not Bible Scripture.

I thought the only verse you fish-heads cared for was this one:
Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: [...]
A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left. (Ecclesiastes 10:2)

Yes, please do that. There are very few among these that I recognize. I suspect that they are just your own fluffy-bunny lieberal cathlyck False Christian musings, not the Words of God.
              Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
              Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

              Amen.

This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
