ROTFLMAO at you! hey baptwits! Read your Bible!

    Merry Winter Solstice!!!

Christmas? Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December!

Some people say he was born on Sept. 11, but I think that's wrong too. Of course it would explain the terror attack on NYC.

I prefer to read my KJV1611 for the answer.

Jesus was conceived when John was 6 months in the womb. And that was in December! He was born in the Autumn! Why else would shepards be in the fields?
You think they'd have the sheep out in the middle of Winter? You want to pay taxes? You do it right after harvest, not in the middle of winter!

Of course???? What are you smoking? Jesus had nothing to do with the September 11 Muslim attacks, for our God is a loving God and the Prince of Peace.

Chapter and verse from your KJV1611, please.

Sheep have to eat in the winter, too. Shephards don't take the winter off.

You want to pay taxes? You do it right after harvest, not in the middle of winter!
Nobody wants to pay taxes. The Romans often imposed taxes throughout the year, though--they were not at all shy about taxation.

I've got an idea, since the KJV1611 seems to be a bit too much for you, you could start quoting the NIV or something a bit more simple. Or maybe the "good news"!
The KJV1611 is clear when Jesus was born.

Indeed, it would take a visitation from God to a Pastor of great powers (perhaps as a burning nigra or in a dream) to make any move as fundamental as that.

Re: ROTFLMAO at you! hey baptwits! Read your Bible!

Maybe you could base it on Christmas carols?
But of course we all know that the Catholics told you when to celebrate christmas. Sorry Father mo, but your joke is over.!
Why do many Christians celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, if that is not when he was born?
The date was chosen by the Roman Catholic Church. Because Rome dominated most of the “Christian” world for centuries, the date became tradition throughout most of Christendom.
jesus christ, god, christmas, birth, myths, mythology, misconceptions, jesus, christ, messiah, savior, redeemer, christianity, christians, bible, biblical, scriptures, scriptural

People wake up! Let Santa Claus give you presents and be merry! Christmas is a time to be of good cheer! it has nothing to do with Jesus!
                  HO! HO! Ho!
Happy Holidays, and hug your neighbor!

I don't EVER hug my neighbor. We don't even talk. He'd probably stab me in the back.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: ROTFLMAO at you! hey baptwits! Read your Bible!

The knowledge of the exact date of birth of Our Savior is, of course, unnecessary to the Salvation of the Immortal soul.

That we, one and all, do take time out of our busy schedule to give thanks for His appearance, (of a virgin touched by God The Father, on earth, in a manger surrounded by shepherds and Kings plus assorted food animals) is as it should be.

One may say that there is little joy in the darkness of winter and, as Christ brings joy into the darkness of our lives by constantly feeding the poor, curing the lame, blind, scabby, and scaring catlix by appearing on Buritos, etc, so this celebration is fitting at this time of year.

Now be gone with you, or at least have some respect, before I ban you. You are an annoyance to all right-thinking, God-Fearing people who have enough troubles in life without having coals heaped on their head replying to pagans.

                      Oh, and Merry Christmas.
