Fair enough...and thank you for the mostly civil reply. I'm not really used to getting those from you. I guess I didn't realize that no one goes to hell until after the white throne judgement...which poses another question. Where are the souls at now? Purgatory? I mean they have to go somewhere while they await judgement right? I'm sure you'll probably tell me to go find the answers myself but honestly it would be nice if you would answer that question just this one time.

I know Basilissa. I still haven't found a verse that definitively says that there are souls in hell now, at this time. I have found some that could be interpreted to sound like there are souls in hell but I don't think that would satisfy Zech..or me for that matter.

Thanks for clearing that up Jim. Would you mind answering the question of if there are not souls in Heaven or Hell until after the final judgement where are they now? If you don't want to could you at least point to what book(s) in the KJV I could find the answer?

You're talking about Jesus and the rich man and Lazarus. It says that the rich man died and was in torment in Hades.

Luke 16
22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

Some Christians say that Hades and Hell (the lake of fire) are not the same place. I'm pretty sure that is that way it would have went had I tried to use that as evidence.

Don't be silly you monkey worshiper. Jesus went to Hell and then rose from the dead. As anyone can clearly see this is completely different. It's not like Christ is some zombie from some stupid movie.
