You're the one making the big claim that the Bible is a story book. Your proof is little more than circular logic based on poor understanding of God's word in its entirety while cherry picking something you think backs you up. I do hope you are not a teacher of any noteworthy school. Your resolute need to dismiss theology without looking at any benefits of religion is truly ghastly. Even if you are a disbelieving heathen, there is still a theoretical reward religion has to offer to people (A guideline for morality, as an example). Your claims immediately fail because the text I bolded in RED, DOES NOT legitimately fit to your premiss and we know why your premiss fails because -

Hence ' that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, . . . . Might I remind you that interpretation of the bible is subjective upon the specific religious sect you are talking to. For example, some may extrapolate from that a clearly metaphorical interpretation wherein the the terminology "deceivieth the world" could lend itself to meaning something of pure evil. The Devil's purpose is simply to cause chaos and deceit. It doesn't take a genius to draw any number of parallels between metaphors and the book of revelations.

Another parallel you could draw is the fact that Adam WAS deceived by-proxy of the woman. Hence, the Devil did, in fact, deceive Adam. If you consider (from a philosophical perspective) the possibility of "Satan" being an absolute of evil, then he did inflict the deceit as suggested by Rev 12:9. Think causality.

One last thing I would like to leave you with. The definition of "faith".

Faith (as per Dictionary.com):
2) belief that is not based on proof.

The whole concept of theology is believing in something greater than yourself. An idea that guides you to becoming a better human being (and being saved in the afterlife, of course). Faith is not something you can prove.

Sorry for the double posts. I would like to make one last point... You are completely taking that verse out of context. They are speaking on a single incident. If you consider the fact that Adam and Eve lived long, healthy lives -- I can assure you, there were multiple opportunities for sin during their lifetimes. Additionally, that specific cherry picked verse is not saying that Adam was not deceived during his whole life. But rather saying that, in that single instance, he was not the one who fell for the tricks of the serpent.

Timothy 2:13-14

13)For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14)And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

I do hope you decide to cast your demons out and repent in the name of the Lord. Only the blood of Christ can wash away your sins. And seeing as how you have committed a large amount of blasphemy within the last few hours, I think it would behoove you to seek forgiveness.
