Do you think something called "Conservapedia" is fair and balanced? That wikipedia clone sounds like "Lets create a totally opposite website to the LIEberal wikipedia. The wikipedia isn't any sort of conspirational propaganda. Its just the reality."
First of all: there were older information sources than the Bible. Egyptians, Aztecs... knew about astronomy, and their civilization appeared 3600 years febore biblie was writen, so they are 5600 years old. Bible is only 2000 years old. Also, egyptians knew that there were planets, and Bible said that "there is earth and heaven".
Second: even if the Bible was the first writen book, it doesnt give any real proof other than faith.
