Is yours a version of the Ubaid madonna, coming up through Egypt (wearing Egyptian clothes) and the Levant (wearing their clothes) via the Anatolian peninsula (and therefore Greece, as Aphrodite) into Italy, wearing Roman clothes and rebranded as Mary?
