I challenge you to start believing in the Lord so you do not live in eternal damnation.

Tried that, realized real eternal damnation is a life not lived to its fullest and on my own terms, people who use the bible as a rulebook will never have this.

I do not believe in omnipotent beings, the whole idea of it is just as believable as the flying spaghetti monster, and i am in no way being sarcastic. It is one book written thousands of years ago, its writers motives questionable and its message obscured by a lack of any evidence (the mere presence of ink on paper does not signify truth)

If you had kept watching you would have noticed what he was saying was a observation of factual information.

Guess you failed the challenge, which is no more than i expected, the fact remains however your pastor failed to see the message hidden in the video he linked, which proves he and you are completely blind to the truth and will ignore anything that is said which contradicts your beliefs offhand (if this were not true this video would not have made it onto this site). I have read the bible, thought of its meaning and come to the conclusion that it is an extremely well crafted work of fiction that is designed to comfort those who fear death. Less intelligent people however misinterpret its message as literal, which causes many of the problems we see in the world today.

Has anybody actually been to Edward Currents "channel" on youtube, because i have and i'm subscribed to his videos. On his channel home page it clearly states that he is not a christian. (he says so in the first lines of his "about me" section)

I would just ask anyone brave enough to check for themselves. After all you wouldn't want to keep this video on this forum if it was made by an atheist.

look at the credits, the video is inspired by Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris (see this at the 2.58 mark in the clip the pastor posted), both are renown for their work in trying to rid the world of the delusion that is religion.

I am in no way ducking the question, you however are deflecting the facts in order to maintain your belief in something that exists only in the minds of those who believe it and nowhere else.

Thank you the creator of these videos, they've helped us save some of those evil athiest faggots, or atleast get us off to a good start
