Normally I wouldn't respond to such idiotic rhetoric such as this, but "Satan's Stargate"? Why are you so afraid of science? All the Large Hadron Collider has done is proven the existence of the Higgs Boson particle, the so called "God" particle. I for one am happy for this. It proves that there is more to science than we can explain, we can see how this particle is moving and dying, but ultimately, it cannot answer something which will always be left up to faith. If you believe in creation, or evolution, or progressive creationism, it doesn't answer the big question. Before the Big Bang, what was there? God!

Just think of how many Bibles all the funding could have purchased! I was kind of hoping that when they switched that thing on it would suck up parts of France and Switzerland into a black hole. That didn't happen, but they are now upgrading it to a 6.5 TeV beam which is scheduled to be switched on sometime in 2015 - we'll have to wait to see what happens then.

This whole "hadron" thing is just "hard on" with the letters switched around. "Hard-on collider"? It's a code word for what this machine is really aimed at achieving. They are going to create homosexual particles. They plan to literally harness the very essence of homerism. I plan to have my tallywhacker planted firmly inside my wife all day 10 September so that those hard-on particles don't turn me queer.

Come one guys, you're perpetuating the stereotype that all christians are all ignorant stupid assholes. And on the subject of molecules, you can't see them. However, we can feel their effects and view various elements and see how they work and infer that they exist. For instance, if your apply an electrical current to oxygen and hydrogen, they will create H2O, or water. It's the same with God, you can't see him but you can infer his existance through his word, the bible.

Not sure what you mean by introduction thread, I just saw this and couldn't resist coming on. It's an observable fact that you can turn oxygen and hydrogen into water. This supports the atomic theory. Do you also dis-believe in the atomic bomb? It's only possible if the atomic theory is correct. Are you saying that atomic bombs never existed and don't work? Because I'm pretty sure all the large world goverments are not basing their most powerful weapon on faulty science.

What proof? All I saw were some unfounded, baseless, heretical assertions with no evidence to back them up.

For example, no Christian would agree with this statement: "Do you also dis-believe in the atomic bomb? It's only possible if the atomic theory is correct."

Because Jesus says:

Matthew 19:26 "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

So Jesus tells the scientists to put a bunch of things that rhyme with "-onium" in a big metal can and throw it at the enemy (think rocks, but 20th century style) and at the right time, God makes it go "boom".

And then we have ice cream.

No, I don't God put the laws of physics and and atomics and gravity in place to make everything work. God created the laws that enable gunpowder to explode, but he is not actively making it explode. The bible is a guide, not a scientific handbook. If the bible said that 1+1=3, would that make it true? Of course not! I also read that you don't think other planets exist. Is this why we've been able to go into space and see our planet from orbit and send probes to other planets?
