I am 23 and the reason behind my poor grammar(which would include punctuation) is the rage i feel towards backwards people like you and i am not trying to debate the word of God, however i am trying to debate your rejection of a fact that has been prove thousand, if not millions of times. And the reason i bring up tounges ceasing is to prove a point, so would you tell me if you do believe that tounges have ceased? And please show me my mis-spelled words, i am using Mozilla Firefox which has a built in spell checker so any word that you believe are mis-spelled are most likely from your own misconceptions on how the words are spelled.

If you have some scriptures that prove that we are wrong in any way, then feel free to post it here. All we ask, insist on actually, is that you state your case with respect. We do not tolerate unsaved fools who come here to persecute us for our beliefs, and this is not a debate forum.

I just received an infraction from Ezekiel for bad mouthing Christian morality...... its FALSE Christians like you that the number one reason for atheism is Christian...you have idiotic beliefs and bullheadedness that makes it impossible to get a valid argument through...good luck rotting in hell for bearing false witness assholes

This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him.

Luke 6:22 tells us that because we preach the True doctrine of Jesus, men shall hate us and call us evil. So naturally, we expect that folks will get their feathers ruffled by some of the things they have to say, and they will come on here to argue with us. Perhaps we have said something that upset you. Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. I didn't write the Bible -- God did. So if my words upset you, then you don't have a problem with me -- you have a problem with God.

We tend to get two types of dissenters here. Some are calm and reasonable folks who are capable of rational discussion. I personally enjoy discussing religious topics with this sort of person. Have you ever seen a mountain? Of course the earth has depth. God, in His grace, has granted us dominion over pits full of fuel.

Still, I guess it's to be expected that two people who love Christ completely are of one mind. If only we were all saved, that we could be done with these bothersome discussions.)

However if you add the tent description to the flat crcle then there is still no argument of the depth of the earth.

I believe our anonymous friend was referring to

Isaiah 40:22-23
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

It's understandable that he listed the wrong source and translation; he was probably on a deadline to finish some pornographic drawing of popular cartoon characters.

His focus on two dimensional art maybe excuses his error in thinking that a circle is a sphere. Seeing as how geometry was invented three hundred years before Christ, he's probably even more ignorant of shapes and solids than he is of the Bible.
