No those quotes were meant to point out that I am not to tempt God by purposely drinking poison to prove a point.

OK so you claim that a true christian can drink poison, but you can't prove it (because that would be "tempting god") and if you were ever to drink poison without knowing it you would have no proof that you had drunk it afterward and therefore would again have no proof of it happening. Added to that, if you were to die after drinking poison unknowingly then that would simply mean that you are not a true christian...

in my opinion a "waste of life" would be a more accurate description of those who actively oppose scientific advancement and thus the advancement of mankind as a whole. Historically this has most always been the case with religions. Up until recently (the past few hundred years) there has not been great enough numbers of enlightened people to overthrow the unfairly ingrained, outdated beliefs that certain religions hold dear. Once this process manages to occur to completion however, i hope people will begin to see reason in their actions and humanity as a whole will begin to drag itself from the pit that is the ignorance forced upon the masses by religious belief.

I know that this will undoubtedly fall on deaf ears for the most part and i commend those who have read this far, people really need to wake up and accept a harsh reality.

The main reason people choose to believe in religion is the idea of salvation, in whatever form it is portrayed, we need to accept that after life, there is only death, however this is too much for many to deal with, so they fall back into the comforting beliefs that their religion allows them to hold.


Once we accept this we will realize that we do only live once and all that continues after us is a memory and a legacy, the greatest legacy we can leave is discovery and more importantly discovery's that can benefit future generations.

without science we would still be in the dark ages, ideas that most religions take for granted ( physics, biochemistry and even modern medicine) were criticized in their infancy as evil, satanic and blasphemous and later adopted as truth.

As far as that goes pretty sure we will both be 6 ft under, no more, no less. The mind cannot exist without the body.

The real question however is what will you have done in your life that will benefit in any way shape or form the lives of those who come in you stead. I'm going to take a guess at not too much. If you have a real good look at your life you will see that it is mostly based on imparted lies, which you have chosen to accept wholeheartedly as truth.

Of course not, you silly boy -- "proof" is a formal mathematical procedure! However, there is plenty of robust evidence which supports the science within the Bible; one only has to read the Bible, and then apply what one has read in the Bible to the world at large. Everything in this world can be molded to fit Biblical science; therefore, the evidence is irrefutable. Glory!
