The Word of God is the only real proof of anything, and it says that the earth is flat. If you reject that, you reject everything else in the Bible. In which case God has promised to send you to hell for all eternity.

I too was a fool but have had my eyes opened by the Landover community. I read this thread from start to finish and posed some of the rambling questions above, now I know that the speherical earth brigade are liars. Lies perpetuated by the cafflicks. Perhaps in these instances we should remember Proverbs 26:5 and answer the fools in a language they understand.

The earth is a flat, plain and simple. The KJV bible proves it over and over again a few examples that come to mind;

Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. If the earth was a sphere this would be impossible and God DOES NOT lie.

Daniel 4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the END OF ALL THE EARTH. If the earth was a sphere this would be impossible and God DOES NOT lie.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; If the earth was a sphere this would be impossible and God DOES NOT lie.


This photo taken by a man, also proves that the Earth is flat. It warns unwary travellers, so they do not go too close to the edge.

OK let's take a look at two pictures. Both are probably faked.





One is of a unicorn, the other is a jabberwock.

So the question is: do you believe in jabberwocks and unicorns? I mean there are pictures, right? Can you see how shaky your so-called evidence is now?

The good news is that there is plenty of evidence in the Bible for unicorns.

Job 39:9,10
9Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

Meanwhile the only evidence we have for jabberwocks is a fictional nonsense poem by Lewis Carrol.

So you see that it makes sense to believe in unicorns but not jabberwocks and dubious picture evidence comes into it not one jot.

By the way: your picture is obviously fake because you can't see all the kingdoms of earth on it like Jesus could when He climbed the mountain.

Have you ever seen a boat coast downhill? I'll answer that myself: No, you have not.

A boat would coast downhill if the world were round. If you put a boat in the middle of the ocean, and there were no wind, it would slowly go downhill to the nearest port.

Instead, a boat will just sit there, going nowhere. That, my friend, is because the earth is flat.

There is a deceitful program called Photoshop, which I believe to be the work of the devil!!!! I've never really pondered the earth and planets to be flat or spherical, I've heard both and just assumed it was spherical until my arrival here on LBC. This has been a true GOD SEND, I have made this into a PowerPoint and showed my Pastor and he was so moved he is planning on showing it next month, along with a sermon he is working on. You see, everything that we are told, that is not by God or His word, is a lie. They lie to bury the truth, if the world was to find out the earth was truly flat and the bible states so, they would all KNOW God exists! They keep lies around to hold back God and His word, to keep them brainwashed to do as our government pleases. We have a Republican party that is trying to tell the world these things!

The eart is truly flat, much research says so. As for sailing "around" the world, I can walk AROUND in a circle, so have I walked around a sphere? No, I would've fell and landed on my head! DUH! So they are correct, they sail around our FLAT CIRCLE!

Hey guys, Im new to this site. Im a definte Christian but i have to debate on this a little. Gravity is real, (or so taught), nothing would fall down as you would say. Or should i say, everything is already down, down being towards the center of the Earth. I still dont get the whole centrifugal force thing since it seems to me everything gets slung away. Unless gravity is so strong it keeps us in place, then it would kind of seem like we would weigh a whole lot...anyways love the debate. God bless.

Just to add to my above post. Could you show me some verses that support or honestly debunk the spherical Earth. I dont really think either theory is in disagreement with the Bible.

It's a true shame you didn't read the very first post of the thread you chose to join. Then we could have been spared your questions. Did it not occur to you that a) in a thread on a Baptist Church forum discussing the fact of the flat earth that Scripture might have been used and b)joining a thread at page 101 without reading any of the rest of it may have caused you to miss something.

It might be understandable if it was buried at page 67 or whatever, but it is literally the first post. Come on.
