Friend, there is no possible way for that number to be correct. After all, that would take a very long measuring tape.

And of course, the earth is absolutely a flat circle. Anyone with any basic mathematical knowledge knows that a circle is a flat object.

Didn't God also talk about all 4 corners of the Earth? Therefor the Earth must be a circle with 4 corners. Or perhaps the writers were talking metephorically, I wonder what else in the Bible is a metephor

Friend, we are dead serious about the Bible. It is the inerrant Word of God. The Bible says the earth is flat, end of story. The only reason we even have this thread is to convince unbelievers of the errors of their spherical earth heresies.

What has that got to do with if the word of God is accurate about His creation?

What else do you think the Bible is wrong about? Perhaps biblical authors misheard God about Jesus entirely. It wouldn't surprise me if you were muddled about even this.

But we know from the Bible that the sun is a light in the firmament for signs and seasons. Why does it matter how mistaken scientists are?

You need to spend more time in our Creation Science section to see just how wrong you scientists are and how out of step you are with God.

How misguided are you, friend? Of course a tape measure is needed, and without a tape measure nothing can be measured. This is a simple mathematical geometric principle.

Also, anyone with a basic, very basic geometric understanding knows that a circle is flat.

Thus, the problem is settled and we have the Truth of it, which the Word of the Lord had already covered, you wrong secular scientists would have known it already if you would read the Bible, the earth is flat.

Reverend, I am just so grateful that the LORD has provided us with the opportunity to homeschool. My children use the Holy Bible exclusively for such subjects as history, civics, geography, science, zoology and many others. For math the LORD led me to this wonderful source:
