    Does anyone here really think that lying to ourselves about the shape of the earth is really what Jesus wants? We aren't supposed to lie, so i don't know why everyone here is damning themselves outright by making ridiculous assertions.

    The earth is round, and saying such doesn't make you a bad Christian, it only makes you an HONEST one.


    Anyway, just thought i would stop in and drop this off.

        I can tell that you feel threatened when anyone actually provides evidence that the Earth is round.

        Cowardice like this is ungodly. Does the word "True" in your title of true Christian mean you're truly ignorant to his word?

        If God is the most intelligent being in the Universe, it could be inferred that the slightest indication of intelligence from his creation would make him proud.

            If by “cowardice” you mean not standing up as a True Christian and being counted, then I for one plead “guilty.” I am as dedicated as any other member of the Landover congregation to be martyred for my Christian beliefs. It takes some strength to stand up against the constant persecution, but, Hey, Jesus said it would be like this, and it is, so Jesus must be there watching us.

              The Bible is the ultimate truth. If science it to be of any use, it must have at its foundations the axioms given by God in His Word. Therefore any valid study of cosmology must begin with the fact that the Earth is flat.

              It truly is the work of Satan that secular scientists ignore this and concoct such wild theories bent on contradicting God's Truth.

              While it is true that the equipotentials or orthogonal trajectories of linear force vectors give rise to spherical surfaces, this only shows that Newton was grossly mistaken. Newton may have been a genius, but was he smarter than God? No, not by an infinitely long shot.

                  I do not question the Word of God. If he were to come to me and tell me the sky was red I would trust in him, for he is all knowing and obviously a greater being than I. I don't understand why so many people are running around trying to disprove the word of our Lord.
