Actually, you're misunderstanding the meaning of the term. The use of the word fiction in the name doesn't imply that the forces aren't real - these forces are quite real and happen everyday.

This thread is all sorts of wrong. It's validity is so objectionable on so many levels and its logic so flawed that it warrants correction, but I don't know where to start. I Gguess I'll begin with the OP's "experiments."

To preface, I will not use pejorative language or appeals to ridicule that would invaldate my arguments. I will try to argue as rationally and calmly as possible. I do not aim to convince you out of your biblical beliefs, but simply try to show the scientific reasoning that debunks these fallacious theories. Assume that the Bible is not infallible here for the purpose of avoiding circular reasoning, just as a courtesy for argument.

Experiment 1: Jump!
Now, the OP asserts that gravity, a well-established scientific theory, can be disproved by simply jumping. To begin with, the simple methodology of the experiment and obviousness of its content rationally would tell you that, because the experiment is so common sensical, and science very good at noticing problems in its theory and then rationalising it, you can infer that it's probably, nay, definitely been considered before. Scientists have not overlooked it; if they had, their argument would have ben debunked long ago.

Anyways, onto the experiment. If you jump, you fall back down; this seems counter-intuitive to the supposed rotational velocity of Earth. However, Earth's massive gravitational force keeps one in place relative to the Earth. You are held in Earth's gravity, and are thus being dragged along with it. In a moving vehicle, you throw something up and it comes back down; this is because the object is being moved at the same velocity as the vehicle and is it at rest with it. It isn't moving inside the vehicle. Now, on a truck at 75 mph, you experience exterior air resistance since you are moving at a very high velocity with and ar colliding with the air particles of the atmosphere. The force of the air resistance overcomes the force holding you onto the vehicle becuase the force of the air resistance is much higher. In a car, your body is held in place by the seats and the back of the car. Now, with the car anomaly explained, it is easier to accept that the large gravitational force of Earth holds you in place much like a car seat keeps you in place in a car; you also travel at the same velocity as the Earth, since you are kept in place by its gravity.

The following post will explain gravity to try to make the above a little clearer. This enire thread can be understood as false witha good understanding of physics and an open mind yo its objectivity and experimental validation, with all tests meticulously carried out and the research properly done.

Only the Words in the Bible are true. Nothing manmade (i.e. secular science) after the Bible that contradicts this can be held to be true.

We accept many things, the Bible is the Book on God.
I accept the owners manual on my John Deere tractor as gospel too, but only so far as the tractor is concerned. I trust the Bible for and with my life.
The Bible has been around for a very long time. Time and time again, its' accuracy has been tested and proved. For some reason, that bothers people.
Could you imagine only following part of the Bible? Or for that matter, only following part of my tractor manual? Let's see, drain the oil... nah, that is too messy... change the filter, nah, to hard to get at. Add six quarts of oil. Gee, that is easy, I'll do that! Next thing you know I blow a seal. Well, the Bible is the same way.

Dont just follow parts of the bible, i agree there, Its all or nothing, But interpretating texts so that they better fit the generation and the predicament would be a better idea. Dont twist the morals of the story, thats a No. But perhaps just change the settings of the stories or the way they talk to be percieved.
