And the ballon thing has A simple explanation. Go get magnets of different charges its obvious that they are attracted to eachother right? Well if you rub A balloon against something with A different electric charge than that it already has then the ions on the balloon become positively charged. Paper on the other hand maintains A negative charge at all times that is why they are attracted.

Please back that up with scripture, friend. I have never seen an 'ion', have you?

It's like they're doing "science" by using those old fashioned "cootie-catchers" we used to play with as young children. Remember those? Perhaps the school girls had printed your name on the inside?



Anyway, I think scientists use these for their latest "discoveries." They start on the outside by choosing a color, then they choose a number, and the flap that is opened reveals their new "discovery."

The inside corners must have phrases like:

"millions of years old"
"global warming"
"physics explains it"
"carbon dating"
"evolution"
"magnetic force"
"billions of years ago"
"free will is an illusion"

I'm so glad someone directed me to this thread. This is the single greatest display of proud ignorance I've ever seen in my life.

I must say that, as someone that works on science, I find it very offensive that people tip off things we've known for decades by simply saying things like "Have you ever seen seen an ion?". Which, as a matter of fact, CAN BE SEEN:


But regarding the subject of this thread, it's so ridicule that someone may discard years of research and knowledge. Of course the Earth is not flat, there have been people up in orbit, photos have been taken, what do you make of those? And how do seasons occur?
Oh, and have you ever noticed that ships on the horizon appear to emerge from the sea? How strange is that for a flat world, huh?

By the way, why do we see different constellations at different times of the year, or why do the stars rotate in the sky in such an aligned and exact way? There must be some kind of explanation for that too...
Another thing, why is it that two sticks with the exact length and positioned in the very same way in different places on Earth cast a different shadow? In case you don't know, that was used by a man called Eratosthenes, before Christ was born, to measure the radius of the Earth.
Did you know that you could see other planets with a simple telescope, or even binoculars? And what is their shape? Round!
To conclude, I'd like to see someone explain the need for time zones in a flat Earth.

Nice you explained it wayy better than I did. I dont know how people can be so narrow minded when theres so much proof and actual science and discovery taking place outside of these simpletons methods of "science". I might be mistaking but I don’t think anyone here has said that you can’t see round things using binoculars. You can see all kinds of two dimensional shapes using binoculars. However, binoculars will not be sufficient to make any statements about distant three dimensional objects.

Having said that, I really don’t know what you think you see with your telescope. I’m sure that if I could see it for myself, I would probably be able to give you a simple explanation. Have you checked the glass for stains?
