Depends.
If I am sitting yes, both of us are stationary. If I am walking or riding in my 930, The Earth remains at a velocity of 0 wheras I could be traveling upward of 160 mph. In any direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! According to what you people claim, one direction, I'd be going 66,500 and the other direction, 66,810. Simply not possible.I doubt my office chair is capable of moving 66,660 on its' own.

So to GodorNogod: If you're driving at a constant speed, and drop a ball INSIDE a car (walls) if you will. The ball hits the target. If you accelerate or decelerate it misses. Also when driving a curve it misses. You can test that for fun.

stand up, don't move your Equatorial rotation velocity is 1,674.4 km/h (465.1 m/s in a circle, kind of like if you are standing on a bus and its going 30 mph you velocity is also 30 mph, or if you hold a bowling ball out side a window that ball is also moving at a velocity of 30 mph, now if your on a bus and stand up and walk toward the front at 3 mph then you velocity is only 27 mph
