First of all, evolution does not contradict all sects of christianity. If one were to take the word of the bible metaphorically, not literally like LOB, then evolution agrees with christianity.

However this thread does not adress evolution, it adresses the primordial ooze. Here, one huge mistake is made. The video grossly oversimplifies the enormous set of circumstances that needed to take place for life to exist.

For one, the earth was in a very early stage of its life. The astmosphere was composed mostly of carbon dioxide, ammonia, and methane; the geography was violent in ways of volcanoes continuously erupting; there were constant thunderstorms; the atmospheric pressure was immense. Under all of these conditions carbon molecules formed complex amino acids and later the first protiens. It was considered life when it was able to replicate becoming the very first bacteria.

The hasty generalization of the video dumbs all of the above down to mass + energy = life.

And I must state that the primordial ooze theory is just that, a theory. Like all science, the king of the mountain is a theory. But in order for it to be a theory it must be tested a repeated under the same conditions over and over again.

Guess what, scientist have recreated the set of conditions to make this simple bacteria and it worked. Look it up.

A jar of peanut butter is not a controlled labratory setting.

Strange, on other parts of this site I have heard that the telescopes in space where a lie.
So how could they notice an angel on mars? Normal telescopes on the surface of the earth can't be strong enough for that. To much interference from the atmosphere.
From all the accounts in the bible they look like humans and are more or less the same size. So how can you find something on a planet that is more or less 54.6 million kilometers away if you deny that they even have the technology to create and utilize an telescope strong enough to notice it?

The problem with this experiment is that no scientists believes life to have come from peanut butter. The peanut butter "Experiment" uses the wrong materials in the wrong conditions for an incorrect amount of time, and they actually don't even check to see if life has formed.

This "experiment" is essentially like "proving" that water can't boil by putting one drop of gasoline in a freezer for half a second, taking it out, then not even looking at the gasoline.
