As you all should know, most scientists are members of the evolutionist conspiracy (if not an even larger conspiracy, founded in order to divert people from the teachings of Jesus Christ) and should not be trusted. I find it natural that science and religion have been such great polar opposites for hundreds - even thousands of years.

BUT, all hope is not lost, because even though the majority of scientists are unworthy sinners, there are still some who is fighting for our side and Jesus Christ. I present to you the forum where one battle is taking place: the Flat Earth Society

Here there are countless of worthy, christian scientists constantly battling the unworthy non-believers on the topic of Flat Earth vs Round Earth. I pray for them every day, and I hope you do it as well.

Also, not many days ago I heard that a group of scientists had crushed Einstein's silly idea of E=mc^2 (which claims that nothing can go faster than the speed of light). FINALLY they have proven, scientificly, that some things can go faster than the speed of light; in this case a neutrino - but all of us here already knew the obvious: That GOD is faster than the speed of light!!!

This kind of news brings me such great joy, and I pray every day that this kind of discoveries will help more people open up their eyes for Jesus.

Richard, since you're new I’m giving you an opportunity to reconsider your statement; read my consideration about this issue.

We don’t believe in God because a fortune cookie message says so; everything True Christians™ believe and claim is based on scriptural evidences and reason. We know the earth is flat because spherical objects don’t have “ends” or “corners” as per Revelation 7:1, Job 38:13 and Jeremiah 16:19.

It was not my intention to try and "lure you away" into this society - my intentions were only to shed light on the fact that not all scientists are unworthy non-believers. I only took the FEC as an example because I saw that the subject on "flat earth" was already discussed here on the forums. I wanted to show you that the battle for the truth - and how God shaped our world - goes on at many places and not just here at the Landover Baptist Church forums.

First let me explain my passion for science:
I am enchanted by all the beauty and wonders the almighty creator has made, and I feel a strong desire to understand the creator and how he came to create such wonderful things, and if I can understand God better, doesn't that mean I get closer to God?
All the things that scientists talk about, things like gravity, acceleration and so forth: are nothing but abstractions of God's actions, laws and miracles. Maybe I am a sinner, but you surely can't deny that this behavior - to learn and know more - is fundamental to humans. Ever since Eve tasted the forbidden fruit, this desire to understand how God's miracles work has been a part of what humans are.

God is faster than the speed of light, even if light is instant or not. Why, because God is omnipotent:
"And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth." - Revelation 19:6

And the latter statement, that not all scientists are bad - can be debunked or validated depending on what definition you have of what a scientist is. For me, a scientist is someone who tries to understand how God's miracles work.

I think you'll find that the shape of the Earth is something obsessed over by atheists. We take its flatness entirely for granted as it is a simple matter of scripture but are regularly distracted from our worship by troublesome fools obsessed with worshipping the Earth as a ball.

We have rather more pressing matters that we are bothered with than debunking scientists over this issue and it's only due to our Godly patience we give them the time of day over it.

Now if we could get back to praising Jesus for bothering to temporarily die so we might be saved and warning sinners that they are wasting their time on contemplating anything but the fate of their immortal souls by reading the Bible that would be nice.

In this case we substantially agree.

1. Science supported by scriptural evidences: Godly science.
2. Science not contradicting scriptural evidences: I (we) don’t mind about it
3. Science contradicting to scriptural evidences: Godless science.

Unfortunately, the FES forum and their “zetetic science” are in the latter category. They use random tidbits from the Godless “general relativity” fairy-tale to support their claim, instead of the scripture. This is like try to heat up the house by burning it.

I accepted the invitation of Mr. Tsunami and presented undisputable scriptural evidences on the shape of the earth at their site. My post has been deleted with explanation: “we disregard religious rhetoric”.

In opposite to them, we have a clear purpose for what we’re doing: spreading the Truth®. I wouldn’t mind if the earth would be pretzel-shaped, if that idea wouldn’t contradict the Holy Bible.

It's very fair to mock physics if you don't understand the whole principle of an atom. Even if you claim an atom isn't real, you should at least inform yourself about what science says about that subject.

Oh the irony … if you already don’t have any clue about the Holy Bible, you should at least read fairy-tales you’re promoting here. Accordingly to the nuclear physic mythology, a neutrino is not a part of an atom, but like an independent subatomic particle, a result of radioactive decay.

But who knows, the roles might have been altered in the last sequel of this ridiculous comedy. Maybe Neutrino has turned into an Italian eunuch? It's so exciting!

You mean Atheists go picking threw the Bible for the gory bits when not looking at on line pornography or writing slash fiction about having nerd sex with Captain Jane Gateway and 7of9 of Star Trek: Voyager at the same time. How anyone can take Atheists seriously is beyond me, we're talking about a group whose major form of social interaction is having cyber sex in World of Warcraft.
