However, now you're moving, relativity tells your how the time passes at different rates than you and the cat, so you'll measure at different value of frequency and, thus, energy and light.

This is called the Doppler Effect. E-->E.(1+v2/2c2). Therefore, if you takeoff from velocity v, you will see the cat gain some kinetic energy of +KE1, then at the flash, you will see the cat's energy decrease by -E.(1+v2/2c2) On the other hand, if you wait, you will see the cat's energy decrease by -E and now when you take off you will see it gain kinetic energy of +KE2.

Therefore:

Where is this evidence you keep talking about? If you can give me an experiment that I can do with my 12-year-old son that proves that light has a speed, then I'll believe you. Until that happens I'm not buying it.


As for your equation, anyone with grade 7 math knows that an equation can't be all variables, you need to put some numbers in there or it's absolutely useless.
