I admit being torn between posting this here or the "prayer request" section of the forum. She's not exactly a Christian Scientist, but she is a True Christian(tm) and a judge, so she's got all the credentials I need to make a statement like that (and we can back it up here with many studies done by our own True Christian(tm) Science panel). I thought about the "prayer request" section because this is another case of True Christian(tm) persecution.
From the complaint:
Slippery slope indeed - so because someone chooses to be a retard, they can get away with murder? 
Now everybody that murders will choose to be a retard and be free to go on their merry way.
You know, I am tired of this persecution of decent True Christians(tm), even though God tells us to embrace it (Matthew 10:22). We need more judges like Judge Edith Jones.

Jones delivered a lecture entitled “Federal Death Penalty Review” at the University of Pennsylvania on February 20, where she allegedly made a host of racist and ableist comments. Jones claimed that certain “racial groups like African-Americans and Hispanics are predisposed to crime” and are “prone to commit acts of violence” and be involved in more violent and “heinous” crimes than people of other ethnicities. She also allegedly said that Mexicans would prefer to be on death row in the United States than serving prison terms in their native country.

*The United States system of justice provides a positive service to capital-case defendants by imposing a death sentence, because the defendants are likely to make peace with God only in the moment before imminent execution;
*Certain “racial groups like African Americans and Hispanics are predisposed to crime,” are “‘prone’ to commit acts of violence,” and get involved in more violent and “heinous” crimes than people of other ethnicities;
*Claims of racism, innocence, arbitrariness, and international standards are simply “red herrings” used by opponents of capital punishment;
*Capital defendants who raise claims of “mental retardation” abuse the system;
*The United States Supreme Court’s decision in Atkins v. Virginia prohibiting execution of persons who are “mentally retarded” was ill-advised and created a “slippery slope”;
*Certain “racial groups like African Americans and Hispanics are predisposed to crime,” are “‘prone’ to commit acts of violence,” and get involved in more violent and “heinous” crimes than people of other ethnicities;

Truth be told, when the lesser races act their color, it is easy for any of us to forget their plight and begin judging them too harshly. Jesus Himself was big on forgiveness, and so should we be (Matthew 18:21-22).
