On what grounds do you assume that all atheists go against the definition of what makes them atheist, that they hold no belief in a god or gods. To do that is to believe that there is no such thing as atheists. You are essentially denying an entire, recognized, group of peoples existence.

I’m sure the Pastor does. Consider this: your group is defined by not believing in a God Who exists. You are defined by a negative, which is reliant upon the acceptance by others of the positive. To have an existence and a definition, atheists have to accept our belief. Our belief is God: you, and other atheists, all thus acknowledge God.

Now had you said that you belonged to a group who did not accept that all trees are bright blue, you would have distinguished yourselves from no one and thus would not be a definable group.

I think you must now accept the Pastor’s point and you may wish to apologize.

As for your second part, it is so filled with holes, half-truths and lack of rigor, I will leave it for you to redraft.

Atheism is dangerous to the church. Outside of the church it poses no threat. Countries like Sweden have proven that a society can run perfectly fine, with morals and nice people in tact (arguably nicer people than our own), while the majority of the people hold no belief in god. More to the point, they simply don't think about it.
I recognize the church's fear of atheism, though. This fear is the reason why they must convince themselves and others that atheists are dangerous, when they have no actual evidence concluding such a thing is true. The danger of atheism is that it could potentially take members away from the church, it could eventually even become bigger than the church if science keeps hurtling forward at the rate that it has (it will). Fear not, though, because this will have little to no impact on society nor will it on our day to day secular lives. Society won't all the sudden turn evil or mean or any such nonsense. Social morals will remain intact.
Any argument that an atheist could offer amounts to only mere words. Is faith not stronger than the words of an atheist? Consider this rise in atheism a test of faith, it may lead a few members of your church astray, but those who remain unconvinced by mounting scientific evidence will end up with a stronger faith in god. Words and science couldn't possibly disassemble religion entirely, could they?

God Hates Sweden. In 1944, homosexuality was legalized in Sweden. Not only was that vile sin legalized in this God-forsaken country, Sweden embraces it so that it is considered to be one of the most “gay-friendly” countries in Europe and maybe even the world. If you didn’t think this country was filthy enough, don’t worry, they will never make you think that again. They hold a yearly fag pride parade known as the Stockholm Pride Parade... King Karl XIII - this pervert kept a diary of his personal life which has recently been uncovered showing that although he was married, he would have flings with men. How he portrayed these flings in his diary would be to draw the male reproductive organ. You could tell how many men he was with by the number of phallic symbols he drew. Sometimes it was one and sometimes it was more. The royal family is so upstanding don’t you know….NOT! Every generation gets worse and more depraved. How you ask, it’s hard to believe but they manage.

I could go on and on.

You lot do crack me up. At one point, I was a catholic. After realising many holes and cracks in the Christian faith, I renounced my ties with God and for many years have been an Atheist (Oooh, how wicked!). Then, after a long time of contemplation on the subject, I have again decided that there is something more to it all after all.

The hardline Atheist ideas of there being nothing is far too inconclusive for me. If there were nothing, then how would a Shaolin monk have the ability to stop a sword with only his skin and chi? So I started to believe in chi, the flow of life force and such lark. After even longer thought on the matter, I've come to believe that there may even be a God, but he certainly does not exist in the way that you make out.

You see, my God is the universe around me. It takes all forms, and it takes none. It is certainly not a bearded bloke on a cloud, however, and it certainly is not an angry, jealous God like the one I see portrayed and worshipped here. But you probably wouldn't understand that. So I shall take my leave of this site and the people on it. I hope one day you find out what it is to be truly at peace. But until you begin to employ one of the key aspects of your religion, ie forgiveness, then you have a long way to go.

As a professional atheist hunter, I can relate many dangers that Atheist filth present to our society. They work closely with Satan to destroy all that is good in our beloved country. We need to make sure that our communities know where these so-called neighbors live. I usually take a large can of spray paint and paint a large red A on their homes as a warning to my God fearing neighbors to steer clear of them.

Using the dark arts of his liberalist-scientologyism voodoo hoodoo, he/she/it somehow managed to hijack my body and write message on this board against the Lord and against Jesus. He/she/it even made me claim that Batman wasn't a blatant flamer cruising around Gotham for kids to take back to his cave!

However, my mind and faith was too strong for his Darwinism, and I broke free of he/she/its sick grip over him, and filled with the righteous fury of the Lord, I smote him back to the dark depths of Hell from which he came.
