    As one of the "Atheist scum" on this poll, I would like to ask a rather simple question. How do you know that the God you believe in is the "true" God? What makes the Jewish, Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. deities false and the Christian version correct? Other than scripture, which was written by those who already believed in such a being, how can you justify your faith?

      That's easy. Christianity is the only religion with a God that promises to send everyone who doesn't believe in Him to hell. All the other religions, we either get reincarnated or sent to a lesser heaven if we don't believe the right God but live a good life.

          While I am an Atheist, I do not worship monkeys. I do not worship anything, as Atheists are. I do not believe in god. I believe in what has been proven to be true, science fits mostly in to that category.

            Its sad that you go through life not believing in anything. Now I could ask you how the Universe came to be and you would have a silly answer that we all have heard a thousand times. An answer you can not give me proof of. I can tell you to read the Bible and you will find the truth, But I have a feeling you would not know the truth if it bit you on the butt.

              You do not worship monkeys, but you'd rather worship science. Well, you're free to make your own choices, even if they are as irrational as that and will land you in hell.

                I don't understand what the problem of believing in sience; when it says the world is older the 6000 years becauses theres prove; how do you explain dinosaurs? It's just rear to relay on a book some people wrote; matthew, mark, luke, john it's there interpretation of the life of Jesus, so why can't anybody else have an interpration of it?

I mean doesn't anyone find weird that there are so many religions? what makes you think your god is real when so many people through history has believed in many deities through history with a faith as strong and blind as yours? what makes you different?

                      Have you ever stopped to think about the way you live your life and how you discriminate others so much?

                      I saw a post about a young Australian mate who was really nice and comprehensive, and all you did was mistreat him and tell him he was going to hell. Maybe he truly wanted to learn about Christianity.

                      I am an Atheist, however I REFUSE to call myself scum, and worshipping a monkey is COMPLETELY unlikely. However, in my humble opinion, it'd be more reasonable than worshipping a God the way you portrait it.

                      When I first found your forum, I was immediately drawn to the slogan on the top of the page. Unsaved unwelcome. Don't you want others to be saved like yourself? How can they be saved if you refuse to teach us?

                      Please note that I mean no disrespect in my post, and please respect me as well if you care to answer.

                        Also, I am terribly sorry for the double post, but I forgot to say : I DO NOT HATE GOD. If I did, I would be contradicting myself in accepting his existence in the first place.
