He'll probably offer up John 14:3, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." which, although it doesn't mention Mary at all (in fact, there's not a peep about her in the whole chapter), was offered as PROOF of the Assumption by the Pope in (get a load of this) 1950!!

It only took their "infallible" geniuses a little over 1,900 YEARS after the (alleged) incidents took place to realize that, "Hey, these simpletons have bought every line of crap we've sold them since day 1, if we add this to the pile no one's gonna notice, right? I hate to add to the pile because I know it can be hard to face that which we try desperately to deny, but you really should know, for the sake of your immortal soul, what the Truth is. Here's proof that the character you know as Mary is naught but a compilation of many pagan goddesses. You don't use words like "worship" in your masses, but the essence is just the same. Indeed, your own church calls her "co-redediatrix," that is on par with Christ. She is, in all practicality, a goddess.
