To assure those that live in fear… That there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

I have three tasks I want you to complete to prove to us that this really works:

• Jump out of a flying airplane, without parachute.
• Jump into a live volcano.
• Stop breathing, completely.

With your "there is nothing to fear but fear itself" approach this should be no problem whatsoever, right? Please report back when you completed your demonstration. YouTube or it didn't happen.

Or perhaps, just perhaps, you are completely mistaken and fear turns out to be a very useful emotion. Fear keeps normal healthy human beings from danger and keeps them alive. Just like a healthy fear of hell keeps the soul pure.

In this mortal life, we live in a vale of tears, troubles and sorrows. Our life is forfeit to He Who gave it to us. It is His promise of Life Eternal in happiness and comfort that sustains us. And that is true whether you believe it or not

There is nothing to indicate that the soul exists, let alone that it can suffer in fire.
