I'm appalled by some of you who interpret the bible the way that you do. I'm a Christian first and foremost, I do what I can to help others in whatever way that I can. I help ANYONE who needs it. I love the Muslims, the infidels, the people who burn christians, I love them with everything I freaking have. The people who persecute us for following Christ, I love them. Those who follow Budishm, I love them. Those that follow any religion at all, I love them. I believe that we will all be judged in the end on how we lived our lives, whether or not we were exposed to christianity.
I'm appalled by those who call themselves pastors or christians and yet hate any person that doesn't explicitly follow the bible down the last passage. I choose to help anyone who needs it, to do my best to guide anyone that's in the darkness to the light. To spread Christianity and bring those into God's loving light.

As followers of Christ our Lord, we should do our best to bring those in the darkness into the Light, not persecute and wish damnation upon them for their beliefs? I dont' understand how someone who calls themselves a Christian, can wish so much hatred upon their brethren.

We don't "interpret" the Bible at all. We just read it and obey it.

That simply is not Biblical. Good works alone are not enough to get saved. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. We cannot be saved without Jesus.

Also, please correct, if you have the administrative ability to, the sticky on other relgions and cults. So many of those are wrong in how the followers of those religions practice. and what's with every one ending with "and satan" in their description? that's ignorant.

Some of the posts you're objecting to are by non-member guests, and there's only so much we can do about their views. If we turned them away as soon as they said something wrong, we'd miss out on many chances to win souls.

I've reviewed the thread on false religions and cults. I fail to see the error you mention.

All cults which are not Christianity attempt to draw the wool over people's eyes, indoctrinating people with a number of bizarre myths explaining where the world came from, and explaining how their various deities will reward or punish people after they die. They brainwash their children with odd songs and stories from the time they are infants, and draw them in with twisted rituals, so they have a sense of "belonging" and "growing in ______" (fill-in-the-false-god).

These cults serve as sources of income for their "priests" and "priestesses", and also social control for the people who follow them. Naturally, politicians find it useful to exploit this social control; in most of these non-Christian nations, the politicians simply give lip-service to their dominant cult!

Now, who would come up with such a sickening scheme of wealth and power concentration and social control? Satan, of course! THAT, my dear Sion, is why we add "and Satan" to every single false religion and cult!

Only Christianity is the pure religion of God; donations go to spread the Word of the Lord throughout the world, and never to line a Landover pastor's pocket! The candidates WE support, like Mike Huckabee, want to bring God's Law to the US Constitution and ensure that all Americans truly follow those Laws! (See the link in my signature to find out more!)

I hope this helps you understand the difference between pure and honest Christianity, the religion of God, and false cults and superstitious nonsense created by Satan.

I completely agree with you JennyD on most counts. I do not, however, believe that some of those represented in that list are represented fairly. Take the Amish for example; from what I've seen, they're a kind and honest people, who chose to live their lives without the benefits of electricity and such, seeking the puritan life style. They still worship God, attend Church, no work on sundays and such? why are they even listed? Plus the Puritans, although strict, are Christians none-the-less. I feel that that list is greatly in accurate and in need of reformation.

I completely agree, we can't be saved through good works alone, but they certainly help others who may not be Christian see how a Christian acts, through faith and good works.

I completely agree with you there Pastor Reuben. Pointing out the flaws, rubbing our good faith in the faces of those who are in the darkness is no way to further Christianity.

Before I get banned for my rantings, as it appears I will be in the future from "biblethumpinblonde," I feel you guys should know something about myself.

I'm an 18 year old college student attending Purdue University for a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law enforcement. I plan on being a State Trooper to help my community and anyone else who needs it. I don't really know why I want to be a police officer, just that I do know that I want to pursue that goal in my life. I'm a Lutheran, who follows the teachings of Christ along with all of my brothers, regardless of which sect of Christianity that they belong to. I love you guys (and gals), but some of you are a bit off when you condemn others or other races or practices without trying to save them. (see Jews, Muslims, Hinduism, Scientology (lol scientology) I've seen quite a bit of anger on these forums (some of it directed at me but hey, it's ok because I know that most of you still practice in good faith, faith in your fellow man, which apparently some of you have already lost that faith.

While we humans can not truly know what moves the Hand of God I would suggest in your’ scenario of the home invasion the victims were atheists, the wife just had her tenth abortion and they were planning to vote for Hilary Clinton.
